Excellent av, DrumMachine! Much as I adore Clint, can't say I'm a fan of his wife's "show" :P

    I'm a lover of the old-school shows...
    Rhoda
    MTM
All in the Family (LOVED Archie...and Archie and Edith together)
    Maude
    Good Times
    Golden Girls

Others just stay with me...have made me cry more than once (also see All in the Family)
    Wonder Years
    My So-Called Life
    Thirtysomething
    Six Feet
Brooklyn Bridge (anyone remember that? it was a gem)
    Hill Street Blues
The Big C (hooked from the get-go)

I like Mad Men too, after watching only four episodes, but feel overwhelmed at the prospect of FIVE FUCKING SEASONS to catch up on.

    Oh, and the fuck-me-for-almost-forgetting category:
    Dexter. Fucking Dexter!
    Sopranos.
    Flight of the Conchords.

For all the shitty tv out there, there sure is some good shit too.

In October 2010 when this thread began, it was Big Bang Theory and today it's still Big Bang Theory. It never fails to make me laugh.

When they cancelled Flash Forward and Sarah Connor Chronicles and Heroes, TV kind of lost me and now I'd rather play video games because it's interactive. ...except for BBT, that is.

The Simpsons - love it when the characters stay the same age for 20 years!

Dragnet - Joe Friday always went on clever/demeaning rants when someone questioned his police work!

    The Office UK

    Amazing Race

    Sopranos

Law & Order (Jerry Orbach episodes...I love his wisecracks!)

Current faves are "Revenge" and "Falling Skies".

I would suggest you watch "Touch"(FOX)-stars Kiefer Sutherland, produced by Tim Kring, he produced Heroes. Currently, it is on summer break, but the episodes are online. The season finale was so great.

Also if you are a bit of a sci-fi person, I like Haven (SyFy)-based on Stephen King novels (ok storylines/characters are loosely based on his novels, but there is always a 'writer' in the episode that is supposed to represent King).

I like Grimm too, interesting how they portray the evilness of Grimm's Fairytale 'bad guys'.

    Other shows:
    The Glades
    Modern Family
    Cougar Town
    Raising Hope
    The Middle
    Eastbound and Down
    Hot in Cleveland
    Awake-not happy they cancelled it
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Ah, Dragnet! I love this show and Joe and its unintentional cheesiness.

It's on at the moment too :P

Can't say that Big Bang Theory has lured me in (granted, I've only seen the promos but figure those are "best of's").

    Sorry, Kat

Most of mine have been mentioned...many several times

Seinfeld...have seen every episode atleast three times I would guess, and they are still hilarious

Fawlty Towers...same reasons as above...cant believe this show hasnt been mentioned

Leave it to Beaver...haha, it was way before my time, but I remember watching reruns of it when I was a little kid...honestly have no idea if it is really any good...but for some reason it holds a special place in my heart.

Current shows I think are ok...weeds, modern family, southpark...cant think of any others
