Oh! Did learn that an old man in an old house with no heating can be incredibly generous and won't let you leave his house until you take a bag of potatoes with you, wouldn't accept any money either. Just a very kind person.

I've almost got the mustache part long enough to curl it up like Rollie Fingers or some old-timey boxer, haha.
But that'd be something new i could learn today as I know not how to do so. I'm thinking it wants a pic off the interwebs, but I've managed to keep myself rather anonymous.
Damn....oh well, we tried!

Light travels at 186,000 miles per second
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To leave planet earth's orbit & gravitational hold, you have to reach "escape velocity", which for earth is 7 miles per second.
"Escape velocity" for a black hole is faster than 186,000 miles per second.
Which is why light cannot "escape" from a black hole.
you are on it, dr. dangdang
Just to sidetrack a tiny bit...I've heard that if you talk to your plants it's been proven they grow better, quicker, and are generally more healthy.
Anyone heard of this? Thoughts?
Yes, supposedly, it is the increased carbon dioxide that you are emitting. Also, plants like classical music better than rock...there is a book that shows that water reacts differently to music as well....I'll look for it for ya
i cuss em out and they seem to die....
i've heard this saying about plants, however, i believe it to be a something made up by crazy people that talk to their plants.
