I do give them a pass for not talking about specific concerts or ticket prices or items that have to do with management. I know other bands aren't as tight lipped about that stuff but clearly their management chooses to be and the 10 Club can't do anything about it. But with stuff like this and the Backspacer downloads and Big Bold and Free, it really gets kind of annoying they ignore the threads and also wonn't give out information via-email. A simple "stay tuned" or "it's legit" would calm a large number of people down but they won't do things like that for some reason. Being that a website leaked information about the thing, I have no idea why the band who is putting the thing out can't comment on their own product.

On top of that, their silence is probably preventing a small number of people from doing business with the guy who posted it because some still think it's bogus and that he might be a scam artist.

All of that said, it's just a piece of merchandise. We will get information soon and until that point, our lives will go on. It's frustrating but in the grand scheme of things, not that big a deal.

I don't think anyone is saying boycott...just that it's odd, or curious, maybe distasteful.. that's all.

Maybe what the TenClub doesn't want happening is them confirming it, us all rushing off to WhatRecords or whataver to pre-order it, when TenClub when they announce it and when they are ready, will offer us a cheaper pre-order. Sounds like the real reason to me. And maybe artwork and crap ain't finished, so why would they talk about a product that is only half built?!
