I was wondering if any of you display your christmas singles or other vinyls? Pictures would be great.

I display them when they are spinning. Other than that, they are with all my other records on a shelf.

I have them all of them in frames on the wall from Ten to ITTW, except for Benaroya though that one i don't have it framed at all.
It's only the sleeves though, all the records are out on other sleeves since I listen to them.

I display my vinyl on spinning turntables. This display changes constantly. :)

When not on the turntables they go on various shelves, in plastic crates, and wherever else I can find room for more. My record collection now has over 550 albums & singles with doubles and triples of some.
  • Have to agree with most of the above posts...

All of my records are on shelves near the turntable...

although, to the person above with the vinyl copy of Angel Dust... I'm jealous, and that is a seriously nice wall...

Do what feels right for you... I'm the type of person who opens stuff... I want to see it, hear it, feel it...

that allows me to display my vinyls and to easilty take them out to listen to them...

    hold my hand

    i just need to say
  • mine are in a stack ready to be played when i'm hyped, drunk.. or ready for an extra special PJ experience...

..just another post urging vinyl owners that keep their vinyls sealed to remember why they bought them, and to spin them for personal enjoyment rather than to hold them for appreciation in value..

if you want to invest in something.. put your dollars in the bank. don't hoard PJ records. haha :p

no. really.. its acceptable to do what you feel. But first listen to a PJ album on vinyl.. feel the difference then decide! i guarantee you'll be breakin' the seals. :D

    So much easier to store!

I have never seen those here on this side of the pond.
What i did was take mine out and put on other vinyl cases and then I framed just the sleeve, maybe later Ill take a picture.

quite expensive, this is the problem... I paid € 100 for 3...
I think I saw them for $100 (for 3 frames).
This is a bit expensive but it's worth. It's very good quality.

I guess I should have been more specific. The album covers is what I ment. I figured the records are spinning. That one display looks cool. That turntable is nice to.

Those ARE incredibly cool. But for those of us on more of a budget, I go with these:

I hate to support the evil WM, but in this case, I made an exception. I mean, even with shipping, they come to barely $9 per frame. They are probably out of stock because I bought them out, hehehe. Hopefully they will have more soon. And yes, these are more permanent frames. I typically use them for records that I also have on CD, and just play the CD or MP3s.

I think this is the post that will make me open my vinyls. I bought them for collectible purposes at first along with CD's to listen to. I have every PJ vinyl except for benny hall. All are sealed but many times I have been tempted. What ends up stopping me every time is that once they are opened, they will never be sealed again. But.....it's time. I'll make it worth it though. I'll start with Ten and make it a one by one thing ending with Into the wild. I don't know why I didn't do it before. i have no desire to sell. Thanks for opening my eyes, they were made to be spun. SPIN THE BLACK CIRCLE!
