haha have you ever seen LeBron live? It's pretty ridiculous how much better he is than everyone else on the court - now if he could only consistently do that this playoffs...

so I've been betting some games this week to try and do some scouting for the tourney. I can't watch this shit unless I have money on it.

went 2-1 yesterday (fsu, vandy winners; michigan loser)

Looking good today. sixers +3 hit, fsu +6, vandy +8

Love the dogs this time of year

Anyone have any games they like a lot in round 1? Not much jumping out at me.

St Marys is prob my favorite. I like cincinnati a lot (love betting against rick barnes). Creighton and Xavier.

    Games look tough

fixer has been killing the tourney. 8-2 last weekend (coming off a bach party in NO where I somehow managed to win $15...was happy to be in the black since most of trip is a blur).

love the fact that shitty kansas keeps winning. lost money on unc this sunday, but it is worth it to have another chance to bet against this crap team.

and the kentucky lines cannot be made high enough. If only the sixers would lose some games so they could take gilchrist or jones. what beasts.

usually don't like faves, but kentucky and OSU both big on saturday.

This is my gambling offseason. I just can't bring myself to bet on hoops or baseball. Losing because some asshole misses a free throw or some jerkoff knocks down a meaningless 3 pointer is the worst. If I love a baseball matchup, maybe a little action. Besides that and the occasional trip to the casino for a little blackjack, I'm saving it for football season. My bachelor party in Vegas over labor day weekend will be the official kickoff to my gambling season...can't fucking wait.

dude, I hear you. I try not to bet on hoops or baseball either...just the tourney and some playoff hoops games. my bets are small though. nothing compared to the bombs I drop on football.

I hit vegas for my bach party as well a few years ago. pretty awesome. every bp should be in vegas or new orleans. people miss out otherwise. where you guys staying?

Yeah, betting on football is definitely the way to go. Finally got my payout from my website for this past season...the super bowl was very good to me. Going w/ a bookie next year...no more messing around with these websites in Costa Rica.

We're staying at the flamingo.....big fan of that place. Great pool and nice location right in the middle of the strip. A friend of mine knows a guy out there and he's hooking us up pretty nice with a few suites and all that....that's where we always stay out there. It's a dual bachelor party for me and a friend...we have 20-25 guys going. It's going to be a fucking mess.

    that. sounds. AWESOME

flamingo is a cool spot. right in the heart of everything.

when I read dual bach party I thought you were going to say you and your fiancee. and I was about to lose all respect for you. glad to hear that's not the case.

bookie is def the way to go. I don't trust those offshore sites

ha...I don't think I would respect myself if I was doing a dual bachelor party with the fiance. My buddy is getting married a month before me so we just figured it makes sense to combine and turn it into a complete shitshow.

Offshore sites are very shady...the way they paid me out this year was crazy. They sent me a visa gift card loaded with the money that they owed me. The gift card was sent from Europe. Then I just went to the ATM and withdrew the money. It was interesting, but at least I got paid.

Great day, first Union Rags wins and now the fight which I was sure I lost turns into a victory! Turned it off with a few seconds left, then I turn on the radio 15 minutes later to hear that Bradley won. Amazing considering he got his brains beat in for 11 of the 12 rounds.

I don't wager money, but I play ESPN's streak for the cash. I just had an eight-game winning streak ended because I picked Greece to beat the Czech Republic and then picked the Marlins to beat the Red Sox. I still am 23-12 for the month, but a 10-game streak would have been nice.

Was bored 4th of july week and starting betting some baseball. Had SD last night, which was a pretty awesome ending.

Less than 7 weeks til college football starts.
