Honestly that was such a setlist killer for me when i was actualy at the show, pumped up and ready to rock, but in hindsight ... and hind-hearing ... it is really great.

    :D

Love: Blue Red and Grey, Picture in a Frame, The Seeker, Act Of Love, and Fuckin' Up.

To me, Sonic Reducer no longer works. Back in '93 it was one of their best covers (still didn't hold a candle to the Dead Boys) but good nonetheless. Now it's mostly forgettable.

  • I love Rockin', Baba, Crazy Mary, I Got You, Bleed For Me, Know Your Rights, Little Sister, Crown of Thorns, New World, The Seeker.

The only cover i actually dislike is Driven To Tears. I hate it! Puts me to sleep :)
"This town deserves a better class of criminal... and I'm gonna give it to them."

  • Love: Crown of Thorns, Soldier of Love, Everyday, and Driven to Tears (I felt they did it well on 4-25-03 in Cleveland).

Not Love: Last Kiss and RITFW, but only because they have been done a lot.

  • Like Love reign over me very much

Dislike: RITFW and Baba - like the songs but I guess I´m tired of hearing them, specially as the last songs of their concerts.

  • I would love to hear walking the cow live.

Soldier of Love is awesome live.

Not a fan of driven to tears.

Let my Love open your door is good.

  • Forgot THROW YOUR HATRED DOWN.

So glad they started covering that.
I wonder which board member came on here, saw my request and took me up on the idea?

Also a bump for I Got You and the original Patriot version (like BSB 92 is fucking the shit shit shit!)

If I opened it now would you not understand?

I'd really love to see PJ cover some SRV... Mike on something like Tightrope or Crossfire would rock.

And Jeff Buckley's Eternal Life would be a stellar choice, too.

Sonic Reducer works really well when they've got a guest on stage. The one from LATG with the guys from the Buzzcocks was good. And the version with Cheetah Chrome on guitar is excellent.

I can't listen to too much Crazy Mary these days... I tend to skip it when it pops up on the ol' song list... maybe it'll come back some day... but not today.

Throw your arms around me, I got you, picture in a frame, I have always like RITFW, crown of thorns.

If there is anything I like the least (doesn't mean I don't like it) is Baba and No woman No cry/no baby no cry.

Honorable Mentions: I won't back down, Dock of the Bay, Everyday People and Growin Up

Over them - Last Kiss... I always have hated it, RITFW(recent tours)

"Don't be shy" forgot that was even in there, saw the movie like back in May and completely forgot about that until I saw all these Ed being thanked in Sicko credits threads here. :o

  • I think alot of their muscle has gone out of their covers. I think that has alot to do with the fact that they have over-played Crazy Mary, RITFW, and Baba.

BEST: Let My Love Open the Door, Fuckin Up, Gimme Some Truth, People Have the Power, I Believe in Miracles

WORST: Driven to Tears, Know Your Rights

MOST INTERESTING: Dock of the Bay, Everday People

  • ive only seen ed cover growin up once (london ontario, 05) and that was pretty sweet. very few covers i havent enjoyed. crazy mary got old, but i really dug the jam in east rutherford, it was incredibly tight. they need to play the seeker and timeless melody more next tour round.
