my cousin's, brother knows a guy who's dad works with this girl who has a sister and she has 2 kids. one of the kids has a class with this other little girl and her dad's uncle talked to ed the other day. he said they are going to start with ten and work their way through the entire catalog. that's just what he said. seems pretty reliable though.

something tells me we are going to be in for a very special show, given the huge crowd.
and the fact that the fans there will have been waiting for days in anticipation.

the energy will be incredible.
i expect cincy II.............
Take me piece by piece..... Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
I have a feeling that the length of this concert will depend on how the crowd accepts them. As long as the crowd is giving them energy, they'll keep playing. With a crowd of 80,000 people, I think that gives us a good chance of getting a really special show out of them.
“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut
Is Metallica really playing Friday night? I thought Pearl Jam would play Saturday & Metallica play Sunday...if Jack Johnson plays the Sunday headliner that would be great....I can get a head start on beating the traffic Sunday afternoon...Im thinking Allmans Friday,Pearl Jam Saturday, Metallica Sunday
From what I understand, it's Kanye Thursday, Metallica Friday, PJ Saturday, Jack Johnson Sunday. Not sure about the Allman's.
I think we are getting Allmans>Pearl Jam>Phil and Friends (on Which Stage), Sigur Ros in the This Tent. It will be hard to cram 30,000 people in This Tent.
I am thinking My Morning Jacket will play the late night show on Friday but if it is after Pearl Jam on Saturday then so be it. Just might need some help getting through that marathon of rock.
Pearl Jam - Saturday
Allman Bros. open up for PJ....
JJ - Sunday
..and yes there is apparently no limit on the headliner... My Morning Jacket and Phil Lesh & Friends play the late night slot... after midnight... in the past Primus has played this slot and played til the sun was coming up again...
I was in the front row for this set in '05, I'm pretty sure I was the only person in the immediate area that recognized Soon Forget, have a feeling that will change this year.
Also, you are probably dead on about the encore. Jack doesn’t really have a bring-down-the-house encore that could efficiently end a 4 day music festival, so maybe "I wanna be a Rock and Roll Star" with some friends?

What happened to "they are going to play the fucking best 3 hour set they have ever performed in their lives........" ??
honestly....
i believe it will be a 3-3.5 hour set.......
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
Hey Speedy, what´s up with 2-29-08?
Dream the dreams of others then,... You will be no ones rival,...
and given the fact that bonnaroo was originated on
the concept of an endless jam, the possibilities are right
for an epic performance.
i'm hoping for a 17 minute Porch.
I like the way you think! It's the -least- they can do for the stinky people.
then BOOM and STONE are going to come to my R.V and we are gonna smoke BONGS for 8-10 hours........
while Stone teaches me how to dance.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
oh i'd be happy with a 4 minute version.
the stinky people seem pretty easily satisfied.
