Silly me.
Just my 2p's worth, but isn't the important word WANT to work? I agree that it isn't right that people who choose not to work recieve the same as those that try to, or simply can't work.0 -

Yes.. it is. And many people want to work, but cannot find work. I don't think anyone strives to live below the poverty line with the ultimate goal being a free handout. They just end up there... at times, due to poor decision making on their part. There are people who live below the poverty line that have more than one part-time job... minimum wage for 30 hours a week does not equate to middle class living.
And seriously... are you going to hire a homeless guy over high school or college kid?Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!

I'm an american, but I have always said all one has to do is look at our TV commercial and know we are stupid. Americans actually believe those commercials. I hear it all the time. They'll say things like " I watched a TV commercial that says this or that works...the dumbasses don't realize its the same people trying to sell them something that are telling them it works!!!
They aim these commercials at Joe Public and obviously know we are stupid 'cuz we will run out and buy this crap based on these commercials.Save room for dessert!0 -
