    It's a pro, fucker!

And foul language is totally acceptable. In fact, the more the better...

Thoughts? Well, I've lived here for 21 and 1/2 years and don't have much complaints other than the religious influence here is a bit obvious, but you can find ways to avoid it if it really bothers you that much.

Sunday is a bad day to plan to do a lot of things here, depending on the business though but a lot of things are closed on Sunday or have bogus hours.

However, our recreation here is great. All seasons have something to offer. Take a weekend roadtrip to the Souther border and check out Zion Nat'l Park, or go Central-Eastern Utah and check out famous Moab. Great place fo pictures, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, camping...everything. Incredible scenery.

We're also home to the largest man made hole in the world, Kennecott Copper Mine, which can apparently be seen from space. Neat shit.

    FFEMD00Z.jpg

Obviously we have skiing, great skiing. If you're into skiing, the winter might become your favorite time of year.

We have 5 national parks in total, the most of any state. (Last time I checked at least). Utah's nature is beautiful and very diverse. You're about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to Wendover, NV...closest gambling.

Plenty of reservoirs for water sports, fishing, camping and swimming.

Utah recently had a change to it's liquor laws, for the better too. Drinkers unite!

In any case, if you plan on moving here I hope you enjoy it. I know I have for a very long time. This is just kind of the fun stuff to do and see here though. What else would you like to know?

The true test of me being a pro or con would be imalive's answer. Visited him at his place the other day for beers and PJ DVD's and accidentally left my hoodie and a CD he burned for me.

Little does he know, I pulled a Costanza and did the "leave behind" in order to get myself in there a second time.

Rob, if you read this, in all seriousness that is not true...and I'm not a fucking creep.:lol:

Do they still have a maximum limit of 4% alcohol content for all beers?

    From Wiki:

Current Utah law sets a limit of 3.2 percent alcohol by weight (4 percent by volume) in beer sold at grocery and convenience stores and at establishments operating under a "beer only" type license, such as taverns, beer bars and some restaurants. Beer over 3.2 percent by weight (4 percent by volume) is available in State Liquor Stores and Package Agencies and at clubs and restaurants licensed to sell liquor.

Most of the beers are actually 3.2% in the grocery store. Some of the micro-brewed stuff is 4%. If you want anything stronger you'll have to go to a liquor store.

Looks like I'd be spending my time in the liquor store. I'm not sure I can find a microbrew around here less than 4%. That's just crazy. What, are they afraid that people drinking 5% might get totally sauced and accept some ridiculous religion and start breeding out of control... Oh wait.

They run a tight ship. Salt Lake is a very clean city and you don't see a lot of ads and billboards, if I recall correctly.

The majority of them are for superficial shit or are LDS sponsored.

If you get into the suburban areas, I kid you not, it is very likely you'll see a LDS church every other block.
