Think again my bright friend, because my vote and yours mean nothing to change the powers that be. The two party (or three) system does not exist, but serves as a facade more an immovable force that listens to nobody ( hey that's starting to sound like an African country now).
If the UK is so bad, why do thousands risk death to get into here. Its so bad you keep returning just so you can complain about it? Your views are very nineteen sixties in thinking of proud western utopian society where everything runs like clockwork. The social problems are systemic and thus our government is responsible for the poor laws (and wars) WE can NOT overturn! Racial tension comes from UK whites being hamstrung, they are held to task over any opinion that is negative to immigrants. Negative and positive opinions should welcome (violence is not) in a free country , as that is what we are meant to be??
Having travelled to many counties I can tell you if you slagged off local people in most countries, you would end up getting a serious beating or worse. You are lucky us British are so tolerant of being insulted!
Love and peace brother
This is where the problem starts, I am British, I have paid more tax money into the system and taken less out than many and that gives me the right to freedom of speech, does it not?
As for why do thousands risk death to get to the UK? a great deal of the problems in these countries were caused by the UK governments, remember that the UK has very few natural resources so how did it get to be so wealthy?
It is not just the yobs down at the local shops, or the kicking to death of family people in the street, or the holiday camp jails, or the massive bonuses and new kitchens and expense accounts while troops who were injured in Afghanistan cannot get proper medical treatment for their wounds, it is the apathy and lack of will to change things that is the issue here.
Yes you are probably right, I would get a good kick in because that's all that is left, the place is bereft of sensible answers, good luck to you people you are going to need it, give it 10 years or so!
I'm off.
We HERE can not change policing policy, jail terms, welfare systems (get real, a vote means nothing). If we protest in any numbers on the street we would probably be water cannoned or tear gased. IT IS NOT a free country of free speech or free action (get real again), more like a dictatorship in action!
We here talk about the great band known as Pearl Jam, although we do venture into other more serious topics. People here are not political activists but are just music fans enjoying the part of their lives that are not tainted with violence, bad morals or crime. Not total escapists, but aware that its either a case of being depressed at ones position in life or enjoying what we can........which if PJ!ADVERTISE your business in my signature space.
