  • Scenario of the day:

Clemson, Notre Dame & Michigan all win out.

#5 Georgia wins out, including a 3 point victory in SEC title game.

#1 Alabama loses only game by 3 in SEC title game

Who gains entry into the College Football Playoff? What team gets left out?

It would come down to Michigan and Alabama.  Of course Alabama would get in over Michigan.

    Michigan or Bama
You guys know that Michigan still has Ohio State next week right?  They haven't beaten them in the Harbaugh era.

Notre Dame looks pretty sharp.  They won’t beat Clemson or Alabama though without turnover help.   If they beat USC a close loss to one of those two will be the best case scenario.  Don’t need another 2012 embarrassing blowout.

Does this mean I have company on the Notre Dame train? I think ND has to rely on UGA beating Bama by 2 scores and hoping that eliminates the Tide from the playoffs. It seems like the Tide being left out may be a great thing for college football as a whole. If they're in, they win. If they get left out, then I think it's anybody's championship to win.

*editors note: they (Bama) are not getting left out.
