Wait a minute...some idiot makes a comment about all Americans having small dicks because they want to carry guns...and you get hung up on someone posting a picture of Mick Dundee?

Seems to me that it was just a well played joke on the idiot.
i'm not hung up. sounds to me like you're the one getting hung up. you really need to settle petal. you are kinda grumpy in the mornings.

i'm merely just setting the record straight regarding shrimps, kangaroos, knives and driving on the correct side of the road. i didn't agree with the other person comments.

Man, I have to do something different because I'm not upset at all and didn't mean to come across that way.

Pretty sure people know that Dundee does not represent all Australians. I mean, isn't Mel Gibson a better description of Australians? ;) Well, I guess he was born in the US so maybe that's the crazy part.

if thats the case, do we have a right to anything? vote? Free speech?

all of these things come with stipulations. The difference being, they cannot take away the right to own guns, they could make it illegal to drive.

That's what makes the right to bear arms stupid in the constitution. There is no need to bear arms now and since cars weren't invented in the 1700's, there is no right to drive cars.

Plus: This is the original intent of the constituion. It has become misinterpreted.

you are kidding right? there is a huge difference between the right t defend yourself, and an ability to operate a vehicle. Do you believe you have the RIGHT to drive?
there is no right to ride horses either...there is no right to transportation. No one will stop you, but you need to secure those things yourself...the government will(in most circumstances) not be able to impede on your right to free speech...do you see the difference?

Technically, Americans still have the right to own SOME guns.

But in reality, the intent of the right to bear arms eroded away a long time ago to the point that it means nothing now.
The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.

lol, I must have missed something, and for the life of me I cannot think what it is...sorry dude, can you explain it to me?
I know it becomes less funny that way, but I do like when I make an ass of myself for misunderstanding am interested in what I missed so I can call myself an idiot and move on!!
