    I’ve waited so long
    …too long
    To be here

    I’m finally here
    I still hear you sing
And I hear you sing black
    Amidst the aging trees
    That shelter you
    They shelter me

Funny, I thought she’d be here with me
Funny…I’m so much younger than when I first had this dream
And in the mist that touches me
    I feel her here
    An angel of mist
    I feel her here
    Beside me
    I’m so sorry
    For the hurt within me

    I know she wore wings
So I know she had to leave
And I can feel a star above me
    So please understand
    If I now wish only
    To sway to black
    For I’ve grown but small
    And my heart’s grown weak

    But I’m here
Where I’d always longed to be
    Where a raindrop echoes
    reflecting a star
    far above me
    Where black is the moon
    Where black shelters me

    Where I shall forever be
    Where I shall forever sleep

To the sound of my song
    Which I didn’t sing
    Here’s everything
    And this time
    I’m not missing

I'm so glad you're here! Thank you!
This is very cool, comfort in black and it doesn't feel sad to me like black sometimes does, it feels right.

Writing from an inspired happy place is much more difficult than from pain and sorrow or anger, maybe because the need to write isn't as great. Contentment, I guess, makes for a lazy writer.
Writing with a positive feel has a beauty that touches the reader and lifts them, maybe even stays with them longer.
Its like love, a gift of love in words, that is cherished, sometimes even guides the reader.
So when we are well there is still a need to share, it can have great meaning for others. I say spread the love!
And you got a lot of love to share! anyone so in touch with their inner spirit, as you are, has so much to share. :D

Wisconsin, my home state, it reminds me of an early snowfall in autumn, nothing like a first snowfall.
It is magical no matter how old you are. Doubly beautiful when the trees are still in their change.
    Each flake slowly falling hypnotizes.
You can choose to take in the whole scene, the mass of white movement or watch one flake on its journey to the ground.
The colorful leaves peek thru the rising snow cover and on the breeze is the smell, a mixture of old and new. The dead leaves and the fresh cold wet smell of new snow.
It is so quiet, the breeze tries to move the heavy leaves wet with snow but can not, the rustle of fall leaves is hushed for a time.
It is a very special moment to take in. A fall snow.

    I drowned in love
    De-surfaced stained…

I would do this to myself… when still young
    Like to my guitar
    With the words I’ve sung

    “So neat the mess
    Could fall in love”
    Fuck I drowned in love

    Now on the flip side
    I’m just stains
    of love

This is cool, you captured much better than I could have
just how I felt when looking at the pic.
I thought of being young again, so in love,
the love of the young very different than that of the old.
Abandoned, captivated, enchanted, submerged in the thought of love.
And young love so messy, undiscovered territory. Doing it all wrong.
    Very nice, thank you :D

    gorgeous
    stunning
    at first sight
    but what
    lies underneath
    this crimson
    masterpiece
    blood of
    the innocent
    comfort or
    self-destruction
    tall trees
    wise and
    proud
    they know
    it all
    know too
    much
    to ever tell
    their ancient
    branches
    drip with
    red red tears
    for all that's
    lost
    and all
    that's
    dear
    peace,

I think about the trees though being so old and standing through it all, "knowing" as you say, being witness to.
    Heartbreaking to see one dropped.

    I Remember

do you remember the drunken punch you threw?
luckiest punch in the history of pugilism,...
the blood flowed from my nose,
and in a soft white tow
    made a perfect butterfly,..
    and then
we kissed, and laughed, and cried...

do you remember when I slept for 36 hours straight,..
    under your piano?
    to wake me,
    you softly played Moonlight Sonata,..
and lovingly handed me a glass of wine
    and then
we kissed, and laughed, and cried,...
    Peace, Love.

I look at myself in the mirror and I see a goddamn chic
Not the man I used to be
Hell, did I ever become a man to begin with
I was a boy until recently

Now a woman trapped in a man’s body
    Suffocating in a woman’s body
    She’s pretty
    But look at me
Not the man I never used to be

Maybe I oughtta pull my pants up, just slightly
Maybe if I get my hair outta my eyes
I might see things a bit more clearly
    … just maybe

    huh. ..fuck me
    …twice

    Bloom

    while dodging dragon flies
    I spied you weeping
    for the lost ones

    please don’t cry
I’ll save them if I can
opps, I’ll enslave them in a can

    I siphon dirty chlorine water
    from the forgotten pool
    into a garden pale

the flowers long for a drop of water
    a wet kiss
    chlorinated death
    Peace, Love.
