love this album, will always be my favourite Radiohead album.

My dealer gave it to me in summer of 1996 because he couldn't handle it anymore, it was fucking him up, which shows how fucked up he was

    fell in love with it

just recently learned Black Star on the bass, the bass line is awesome

The Bends is still my favorite Radiohead album. But OK Computer is my favorite first 1/2 album. Maybe my favorite first 1/2 album ever. Maybe.
  • Oh, this album just blew me away when I first heard it. Goosebumps, chills, soaring emotions, the works.

An absolute masterpiece and still to be surpassed by Radiohead, in my opinion. Shame about the last two albums…..

Hate on In Rainbows all you want but stay the hell away from Hail To The Thief. It's criminally underrated.

As great as radiohead are... the cover of Black Star by Gillian Welch is more close to the emotion in the song.

Great cover, cheers for the link. It kind of reminded me of Brandi Carlile.

Yeah, I can have a little bit more patience with that album, but I do feel it suffered from being rushed and the band didn't seem to be going in any particular direction so it came out sounding a little disjointed. Only my opinion of course.

In Rainbows is another matter, they took there time with it and still got it horribly wrong.

The Bends rules over all. :D
