TV shows you enjoy watching with your kids?

As most of us parents know, when cartoons are on 24/7, you form an opinion of some you would rather watch than others. For example, God help me, I love Phineas and Ferb. It cracks me up and not so bad to watch considering others that are out there. Which ones do you like to watch with your kids?

I have an 8 year old brother and he loves watching that show. I just wish they showed the Nick cartoons and shows I used to watch when I was his age and a little bit younger. I remember watching Hey Arnold, Rocket Power, Rugrats, Doug, All That, Keenan and Kel, the original Power Rangers (although not on Nick, I loved that show). I miss the golden age of Nick from the 90s and early 2000s. I forgot to add Animaniacs, which was on WB.

I don't have kids, but when I was staying at my sisters house last month I watched "The Suite Life on Deck" and "Wizards of Waverly" with my niece and actually thought the episodes were pretty funny. I even tuned into them the other day when there wasn't anything else on TV and thought they were good.

Anything on Disney now a days is great kids t.v., in grew up in the 80's and beleive we had the best Saturday morning cartoon's ever.
  • My son recently discovered Suite Life, we are watching it right now. My husband laughed to ourselves the other night b/c our son left out of the room and ten minutes later we were still there watching it (waiting to see if Cody and Baily got back together, lol). Wizards is ok, but I cannot stand Hannah Montana, that show should be called, "how to be a brat and ungrateful b**** to your friends and family." On another note, I don't allow him to watch Sponge Bob, I think it just unnecessary crude/rude humor (JMO).

That's good to know, lol. However, even though mine is young, I will let him watch The Office and King of the Hill, depending on the episode.

I've heard it's funny. I tried watching it the other night, but couldn't really get into it. I might give it another go.

I let my kids watch the office too, depending on the episode. They think Dwight is hysterical.

I also like "the Middle" on at night.

I went to see Cats and Dogs 2 with my kids on the weekend...there was an animated short during the previews - 3D WILE E COYOTE / ROADRUNNER!!! It was AWESOME!

    Got me thinking...
WHY hasn't Warner Bros got on the digital animation train?????
Seriously, how huge would a digital animation Looney Tunes movie be? They could do a million of them...

And I guess that is my answer to your thread:
I go online and track down the shows I loved as a kid and watch those with them as often as possible, cause I like MY cartoons better than theirs ;)

My 2 yr old is obsessed with Bob the Builder. He always asks for it and even knows how OnDemand works. Some of the episodes are actually pretty accurate when they are building things. Fireman Sam is another of his faves. I don't mind watching either one. It makes him happy which in turn makes me happy.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.
