my mom put me in pageants when i was little and i turned out fine... though my sister/daughter has a few issues :eh:

There's something very, very wrong about very young girls in make up and prom dressses. It really fucking freaked me out when I saw the trailer. It's an emotion that I couldn't put a name to - a mixture of utter disgust, shock, surprise and bewilderment.

I think if I watched the show I would vomit. Seriously.

Parents who put their kids through this want fucking horse whipping.

I honestly believe that people like this are abusing their children. they are not thinking of the kids even on iota. it's all about THEM, and it sickens me.

I caught a few minutes of this show a few nights ago. It is disgusting! At first I thought it was a joke. I saw the part about a little boy who won some supreme title. WTF?

I don't know if I saw this particular show you are posting about, but I saw a few seconds of one where they teased the toddler's hair into big curls with a poof on the top like the eighties and they held her down and sprayed fake tan on her. i think she cried.

put a fake tan, a ton of makeup, the teased blonde big hair on those moms and they will be reliving the eighties...that's what the toddlers look like. their mom's should be punished by making them look they way they are making their babies look.
