My boy just got me into them a couple months ago (yeah, i know, they been around for ever) and i'm going to see them with Alice in Chains in September!! those shows are going to be so fucking sick!!!

    Count me in. I've been listening to them for ten years, plus I saw them on the Summer Sanitarium tour in 2003. They are the best of the modern scene, in my opinion.

    They are definitely innovative and i dig their style....White Pony is my favorite album by far but the new one, Diamond Eyes is pretty dope too.

    dude..they have a ton of really good songs...check out the White Pony album...Digital Bath & Change (in the house of flies) are 2 of my top songs...very unique sound...very cool!

    Love the fuckin Deftones....awesome band!! "Digitial Bath" is one of my favourite jams ever and can't wait to c them with AIC in September. I wore out my "White Pony" cd when it came out....pure raw, sexual, unique creativity with this band. Glad to c them moving forward despite Chi's unfortunate accident....

    Never got to see them live, but it sure is a great band and the new record is fucking sick. I did not expect it to be so good and so far it's one of the highlights of 2010.

    Not my typical kind of band normally but something about them jumps out at me. Love everything up until Saturday Night Wrist which is pretty patchy and haven't heard the new one yet. White Pony is one of my favourite albums of this decade. Chino should pull up his pants though.. ;)

    One of the best alternative rock bands out there, saw them again this year and they were fuckin awesome!!! And by the way the songs they have covered are timeless as well!!!

    saw them live once on my birthday a few years ago. it was one of the worst shows I've ever seen. Maybe they had a bad night.....maybe the sound was bad. It was terrible.

    I have talked to people who have seen them many times live and they have nothing but great things to say...like you said...it could of just been an off night....i mean even *gasp* ED has those....plus Chino has been screaming for the past 20 years like Ed...that takes a toll on your vocal chords...as you can see....almost everyone who has seen them live in this thread said they were kick ass live.

    they are one of the very few bands that puts a dent in my Pearl Jam listening time.
