Very Limited Picture Disc Pressing
Only A Few Hundred Copies Ever Printed
Was Never Available For Public Sale And Only For Private Use
Thanks D for the info. Is there a average price going for these? Is $650 a benchmark price thats expected, or was that just crazy?
I'm not sure what the average price is going for. Wish I got a chance to score one of these when they were released. I pretty much missed the boat when these went up for sale. :(
I've seen them go for 500 - 700 on eBay a few times. If I remember now, somebody said they had 2 copies here on the board! :shock:0 -
Delayed??? Damn!! I was really looking forward to hearing this this wk.I LOVE MUSIC.

Were the picture discs ever officially released for sale to the public? I was under the assumption that they were given out to the cast and crew of the movie which is why they go for so much money. There are only a couple hundred of them in existence from what I heard. He who forgets will be destined to remember.

I don't think they were released 'officially' @ pearljam.com & online record stores (even locally), aka Easy Street, Insound, Vintage Vinyl etc ... Somebody said they scored em from a some dude on eBay. Wish I knew cause I would so of bought one. Someday, I'll save some extra cash on the side for a copy. Someday ...0 -
I don't mind if it's been bumped a bit....I'm just really glad I have the opportunity to add it to my vinyl collection...and the Music On Vinyl guys do a great job generally. I have a few of their reissues and have been really impressed so far....hope they keep them coming...New Zealand,95 Auckland 1 & 2, 98 Auckland & Wellington,

same here.
same here +1.
I really hope SoundStage will honor their pre-order, I ordered the 1st day when I saw the news on the Porch.0 -
....and the same in here (like in the other thread):
Hello, some news!
Phil called Tim from What records/UK this morning and Tim said, he's having no issues/problems with the stock and he will order more to meet the demand (possibly the US retailers have ordered late?).
but my worries still remain...should I order another copy from What?
I was one of the early birds and ordered mine on July 21st (Aural Exploits) and I got the "shipping confirmation" some weeks back because of the expirering payment, so maybe I am one of the lucky ones to get one. But just maybe :?
I'm quite tempted to order a copy from What.....0 -
not looking good for you all
aural exploits pulled it from their site as well
sorry**CUBS GO ALL THE WAY IN......never **0
