Ya, this has been a disappointment so far…I feel bad for the rookies; they’d probably all be in Calder contention if they were on better teams…
I’ve already been checking Central Scouting reports for 2011 ….we need a dominant d-man…thinking Adam Larsson is the choice there…for now, I guess we’ll borrow the Leafs theme song – Next Year!
On a side note, I hope someone takes out Sean Avery’s knee sometime soon. Ladi Smid has to wait another year for redemption, but someone needs to take that fuckin weasel Avery out of the game permanently….I’m not the type to wish harm on a bug, but Avery is so devoid of sportsmanship that he doesn’t deserve to be in the league. What a sucker punch cheap shot that was.

Avery is such a fucking chump, I have never heard of anyone (other than fans of the team he currently plays for) say he is actually a good player. He is a punk and the only reason is there is to be a pest he is good at that. The league allows him to be who he is though, blame Betman

Could Ryan Smyth be returning to the Edmonton Oilers in order to finish his career with the team that selected him in the first round of the 1994 entry draft?
A deal certainly isn't imminent and won't necessarily be an easy transaction for either the Los Angeles Kings or Oilers to close, but sources tell TSN the 35-year-old left winger has indicated to the Kings his preference would be to play next season in Edmonton if a trade can be worked out.
