Yeah, what the hell was that? I signed up for notifications from Nintendo, Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, etc. Didn't receive a damn word about it from ANY of them.
Is anyone getting the 2ds xl? It's sold out on amazon.com but still available here. Should be good.
Thought about it but can't pull the trigger yet. I'd rather have the white/orange model that the Europeans got.
I received it on release day via Amazon Canada. It is pretty sweet. I thought about holding off to see if I could get the white/orange model later as it looks cooler but knowing Nintendo that would be impossible to fulfill. The only thing that is kind of correct about the reviews is the glareback. As long as you remember to turn up the screen brightness instead of worrying about battery life you will be fine. It is a solid design and glad I pulled the trigger.
Seriously, I don't even understand how Nintendo is still in business given the way they operate. Ridiculous.
Didn't Nintendo say they were going to assure more supply was on-hand so they didn't have a debacle like the NES Classic release? Watch them shoot themselves in the foot once again come November when they say they are discontinuing it...right before Christmas. :fp:
I was able to get the NES Classic. Never was able to find a second, legit, Nintendo brand controller for it. Got a knockoff on Amazon and it's a total POS. I rarely even play the damn thing.

Get the 8bitdo controller for it with the nes classic adapter
Seriously...Nowinstock.net is the best thing ever! From the second I got my text, I ran to my computer and had an order placed in less than 3 minutes!
Yeah, isnt it? A step further, i have a walmart account with shipment and payment info preloaded into the app . From the time i got the text to confirmation ... it was about 30 seconds.
Nowinstock is great. The secret is out a bit... but a few additional measures and persistence can tip the scales

I wonder if this will be the same for Shoppers Drug Mart stores across the country with the "Not Available In Stores - Delivery Only" jam.
If you want to play classic games, Raspberry Pi is the way to go.
But I am a sucker for the collectibility and novelty of these fuckers
GO!!
Just got one!
