You're also talking about a group of people who allegedly believed a video made by the Onion was true (I've been on vacation and away from this site for a while, so I apologize if I'm repeating something someone else already said).
And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.

    hell yeah, rage kicks ass.

grats man, i saw rage in 98 i think and its still one of the best shows i've been to. dealing with riot police after is a bitch but usually they're the minority.

and whoever said rage is a gimmick is missing the obvious. they are putting on a concert in direct opposition to this bill in AZ. they are directly taking a stand. that's no gimmick tha'ts direct action.

    Great band! Incredible energy!
Off to the show now- I'll try to take some pictures and post some info on the show tomorrow.... I'll make sure I fist pump fall my fellow Moving Train Folks! Especially those who have taken a stance against the AZ Bill!!

I could be wrong about this, but for those arguing that Rage is just a bunch of sabre-rattlers that found a gimmick, I think that Zach quit the band and joined the zapatistas (again could be wrong) for about 8 years. To me that going to the front lines in hopes of making change. Personally, I think W. just had him extradited for the 8 years he was in office, and that's why Rage broke up but that's just me.

Really Bush had Zach extradited.  I hope you are kidding. Maybe Zach is the real deal, but the rest with that crap audioslave.. I am not sure.

Yes. But why let a pesky fact get in the way? It is easier to just label people racists and call them anti-immigrant.

Does it really matter what you call it? People aren't complaining about the Arizona law because it addresses the problem of immigration or illegals, but more simply that it gives powers to local authorities they should not have which basically undo any citizens rights (being arrested without proper reasons, or having "paperwork" or similar). But nice way to try and avoid the issue at hand.. seems like you were guilty of the same exact thing you were complaining about others huh? But why let a pesky fact get in the way right? ;)

Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. - Louis Brandeis

    you got it right
and this is basically why this country is in such a mess
    two sides
    with hate at the core
    not listening to each other
trained to hate another person whose beliefs that you disagree with
instead of hating the corrupt system that somehow gets away with
    everything
    like ed said
    "how do they do it?"

it was this corrupt system that allowed millions to come here illegally for years
    to benefit this corrupt system
which then scams a way to give illegals benefits
and only when a recession hits
and the average-joe-lower-middle-class-slaves of this nation
    are slightly affected
    in the wallet
    do people get mad
and who are they mad at?
    who do they dispise?
    the mexican people
who only want a better chance in this life
because their country is drenched in corruption

and hating the polititions is useless
    they are just the patsies

"Killing in the name" - was dedicated to Sheriff Joe Arpaio. The energy during that song was incredible...The whole night was simply amazing!
I think everyone in that building had there fist in the air, right before Killing in the Name.... Then the place exploded with Rage!!... It was by far one of the best shows I have ever attended..... and I have well over 100 shows under my belt...

Rage helped raise $300,000+ that night to help fight AZ and its illegal immigration bill......
Not a whole lot of talking by Zack, but when he did , you can hear the energy, sincerity, and passion in his voice! They definitely brought the passion that night.... I've been on cloud 9 since Friday.... I still can't stop thinking about the show! Incredible......

Thanks Rage and especially Tom and Zack!
