I have never had the chance to see those guys in concert, during the republican convention in st paul they played at the traget center in minneapolis and I lived about 3 blocks from there. It was rather annoying!!! God damn people marching everywhere after they were done...It was nuts.

I sure would love to see the show, one of my favorite bands growing up. Make sure you stay safe afterward, cops and city officials are usually on edge when this band comes to town...good luck

Thanks man.... Why don't you come out? I'll buy you a ticket! Really! We'll that's if I can even get one myself.. but if I'm in your in! .. You really need to see this band live.... and at a venue like the Palladium I guarantee you wont be disappointed- That place is like the size of an average movie theater....

    Come out for the day.....

i am glad to see someone in music is getting involved...and who better than RATM??

i wonder how much security is going to be beefed up for this? i am gonna go out on a limb here and predict something bad is going to happen. i saw zach threaten to hit a security guard in the head with his mic stand for roughing up fans in 1992..good times...he was deadly serious about it by the way..

thanks for the offer...unfortunately I have to pass. My gal is in the hospital at the moment in pre-term labor. Kind of scary but seems like they have it under control. that being said I will be a father here shortly. So a ticket to LA seems like a bad expense. Now if you wanted to cover the plane ticket as well I may have to change my mind :)

again, stay safe, with a lot of riled u people it can go from bad to worse without much hesitation. I was in the university area of minneapolis when our hockey team won the college national championship and people were all out celebrating and thn shit just went crazy. Sddenly a car was tipped over and hooligans were breaking everything in site!

I think Zach acts and talks a little too much smack, at least for a little guy. :D

I used to listen to Rage a lot. We named our hockey team Rage. I seen them in concert and yeah it used to be a energy fueled show. Their message gets lost somewhere on me now. I mean I heard zach talk trash about the last 3 presidents. To this day I am unsure of why all the hate he talks and no solutions. I can hear it now he is going to call the Governor a bitch or something to that effect and talk trash about Obama and say we need to rise up an overthrow the government... Then what anarchy, please after the show the band will go back to their penthouse hotel room and back to their million dollar homes. I think it is all an act for them and it works and they profit.

No I think Rage is full of shit. I think they found a gimick and it worked. All they do is say is saber rattling. Stiring people up and that is it.

and when were you forced to stop liking pearl jam because of politics?
good question but i guess it just depends on how close the issue is to your heart really. judging by unsungs posts, i'd say this is something that's right up there for him. while i don't agree with him on this issue i can understand what he is saying,

all i know, is that if my favorite band that i've loved since i was 12, ever play in Israel while things remain the same, i will see that as them offering support of Israels illegal, brutal occupation and oppression against the Palestinian people.

and i will never forgive them.

rocking in the free world my ass.

what is up with this stuff ? why would anybody let a bands political beliefs change your mind on the music ?
reminds me of the 80's when people were telling me that KISS meant kings in satins service..I laughed at their stupid butt's then as I would laugh at anybody today for letting politics rob them of some good music.... another thought on this; I don't follow along with the gay thing but Elton John Freddy Mercurey is / were 2 of the best in the business what they do/did in their personal life ain't non of my business and I don't care what political views PJ or rage have it's the music I enjoy, I listen to everything from death metal to judy Garland...btw the over the rainbow is one of my favorite tunes :D people shouldn't let the world and it ups and downs in politics or anything else cheat them outta some great music......sorry I lost it for a second but I'm back now.
