If there was a different opener for literally every single show from now on, that would be fantastic.

I enjoyed Kings of Leon myself.
I have to laugh. That's the same exact thing I thought when I saw the Header

The top 3 openers I’ve seen are:

Nothing As It Seems (Cardiff 2000)
    All Or None (Vic 2007)
    Alive (Newcastle 2006)
    “Do not postpone happiness”
    (Jeff Tweedy, Sydney 2007)

“Put yer good money on the sunrise”
    (Tim Rogers)

So many great options.  Release just feels like the best to me.
I did like the novelty of 'double openers' e.g. Pendulum > Of The Girl from the 2013(?) tour

I would really love to see Setting Sun played to open a show, especially during this small leg of the tour, like in Hollywood, or Raleigh, or the final show in Pittsburgh...please.

I've seen the following songs played as openers:

    Release
    Long Road
    Can't Keep
    Wash
    Last Exit
    Sometimes
    GO
    Once
    Of the Girl
    Pendulum
    Hard to Imagine
    Soldier of Love
    Crazy Mary
    Nothing as it Seems
    Love Boat Captain
    Wasted Reprise-Life Wasted
    Severed Hand
    Given to Fly
    Hail, Hail
    Animal
    Corduroy
    Elderly Woman
    ...and maybe some more.

My favorites are Wash, Release, Long Road, and Wash.  I just think they set the stage the best.
Having seen so many different openers, for me personally, I think Setting Sun would be right up there at the top with my other favorites.

One of the tour details I love has always been the "walkout" music.
Red Dot is just CRAZY GREAT, as is Master-Slave.  I loved the walkout music during the 2000 tour.  I would love it if they broke out the music that soundtracks the European Cities montage on the Touring Band DVD.  One of my tour rituals is watching/listening to that montage before I leave to see a Pearl Jam show.  I've done it for every show I've seen since the DVD was released.  I just think that is the coolest montage and so awesome to get you pumped up for another incredible night with the WORLD'S GREATEST ROCK BAND.
I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN IN ONE WEEK!!!!!!!!

PS: the tour database is WAY off on the 8/05/2016 setlist.
