    Admitting the changes I needed to make ... even although the circumstances that caused it to happen felt forced onto me ... it continues to be the biggest awakening I have ever had ...

    Not sure if these qualify, but they took some courage for me.

    - Moving out as a teen because I couldn't take the anguish anymore
    - Falling in love

    Both scary, but worth it :)

    Bravest thing was probably standing up for myself as a kid to someone everyone else was afraid of. I was scared too...but that just made me angry...and being angry can be quite empowering. Still do it...but doesn't seem as scary now.
