Fucking hot here. 98 today. Heat index around 108-110. Come on fall.
    I'll be back

ya, that's freakin hot...its hot and humid as hell here, miserable, in simple terms

BUT if it were not for the exhaustingly broiling days of summer

or the sub zero frost free freezer days of winter

Then we would not appreciate fall and spring as much as we do.

That being said, Fall is also my favorite time of year....

Sweater weather....70s with a light cool breeze in the air during the day

Cool and crisp and fresh and zesty at night

    Cozy time

The very best time of the year.

And I'll appreciate it all the more after despising this heat for the next couple of months.

BUt I'm picky...too hot...or too cold. Neither summer nor winter are for me.

Give me a warm/cool Autumn breeze any day of the year.

    And colors...beautiful....Mother Nature knows exactly what's she's doing :)
    peace,
    jo

I hate January and I hate July in Chicago.. I'm ok with the rest of the year. Above about 82 or below 32 is no bueno.

Yeah man, there are only 2.5-3 "bad" or hot months here and the rest are awesome.
Growing up in the midwest, it was 3 months of bitter-ass cold and 3 months of sticky, muggy misery.

I'll take my week or two of 110-115 over that any day! :D
Well...maybe. A black car in the desert is never really a good idea though...

Chicago needs to be relocated near the ocean, in a more temperate climate.. only then would it go from the greatest city on earth to heavon on earth. 8-)

Let me add, September and October are the best months in Chicago.

I'd skip summer if I could. :) Love the other seasons. I know I'm in the minority here though. ;)

  • I like me some Summer, if only because of the ocean and driving with the top off of my Jeep.

However, nothing compares to Fall. September-December is just incredible.

The best part of summer is that it clears the way for Fall. I LOvE autumn. I have to admit the fashion colors that came out in autumn last year were much more vibrant and autumn-like than this year. This year's autumn colors have a greyish to them. I should have bought more clothes last year :D
