I admit it is a small minority pushing these ideas but it still scares me that it is growing and becoming more vocal

ironic that if obama had not won the Iowa primary he would probably not be president now

There's no 'scaling' between Obama and Lenin as Obama has absolutely nothing to do with socialism.

True. And the fact that this is true shows a disturbing trend: the political and social arenas - the same arenas that are supposed to forge growth, equality, and civility - have adopted venom and narrow-mindedness as their approach to discourse, as opposed to dialogue and clear, intelligent thought.

The U.S. is in a downward spiral (and no, it's not because of socialism). See this topic, viewtopic.php?f=13&t=137203, and pay attention to how many people you know that you consider informed. I think you may be surprised. But hey, who can blame people for not being informed and for not being involved? There are more important things to do: TV, the Mall, reading US Weekly, ..............not enough time
