i thought the tea party was nonpartisan?????

Actually it is, however there are few Democrat candidates that fit the lesser taxation model. And this is ONE PARTICULAR candidate, don't get out your broad paintbrush just yet.
has the tea party given money or support to ANY democratic candidate????
I think that a lot of tea party supporters in Indiana will show their support for democratic senate candidate Brad Ellsworth. His opponent, republican Dan Coats, goes against any principles the tea party has defined. Dan Coats was our former senator until he decided leave the state in 1998 to make the "easy" money as an ambassador and lobbyist. Now he has moved back to take his throne back.

I don't think you will see an official Tea Party campaign support Ellsworth, but I think it is pretty clear that the real people that make up the Tea Party ideology are not the ones actually running the media platform.

speculation of future events did not answer my question. what democratic candidate, to this date, has the tea party supported and given money to???? also, specifically what democratic candidate has been invited, shown up and spoken at a tea party event???

My opinions on the New Black Panter party and the Tea Party?
I don't like either of them.
The New Black Panther Party is the same old Black Panther Party. They remain a militant wing at the extreme end of the spectrum. They might better serve the black community and mend race relations by dropping the hate that leads to nowhere.
The Tea Party... it started out as a good thing... non-partisan, independent, vote out the incumbants (regardless of political party affiliation), send a message to Washington. They have been hi-jacked and taken over by angry, mostly white, Republicans who are sponsored by FOX News and political pundits such as Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity. They are no longer a voice of independence... they are a voice of Republican agenda. It is no longer a move to vote out incumbants... and more of a vote out Democratic incumbants and vote in Republican politicians. Independents you say? I have two words that crush that arguement... Sarah... and... Palin.
    ...
Yes... but put the political party affiliation behind their names and what do you get?
Replacing Democratic Incumbants with Republican politicians... not independents. That's what I said... the Tea Party is NOT independent... it is the MoveOn.org mirror image and Republican.

All everyone does is speculate about the tea party and it's motives. This whole thread is speculating on the Tea Party. But I'm not allowed to speculate on what might happen in the next several months with actual people who support Tea Party principles but not the fake group trying to hi-jack the movement?

Anywho, I'm guessing the answer to your question is none, zero, zilch . . . but I'm only speculating. ;)

i apologize, am i SPECULATING that the iowa tea party put up a billboard depicting obama with hitler and lenin, or did that actually happen? what is the motivation in that move?

if the answer to my original question of which democratic candidate the tea party has supported and given money to is in fact none, zero, zilch, then please stop insulting all of our collective intelligence by claiming the tea party to be nonpartisan...

Fair enough. But there is one thing I can say without speculating . . . I support the original Tea Party ideals and I will be voting for a Democrat for U.S. Senate this fall or I will not be voting for anybody. (it would be nice to have more then two parties to choose from . . .)

Which was the original intent of the Tea Party... to vote out any seated Representative, regardless of political party, and replace them with a third party (namely, Libertarian) to build viable Third party option. But, the Republicans hi-jacked the thing and it is now a movement to replace all seated Democrats with Republicans. Nothing independent about it.
