anyone know of a FREE flac to wav converter?

I keep finding ones that, one way or the other, aren;t "free". entirely free. i'd like to convert some flac's i have to burn but i can;t find a free converter. thanks for the help in advance.

    Flac frontend. i dont use flac very often but i think it worked good and was completely free.

    I just use winamp. Googled flac to mp3, and one of the first pages had instructions for using winamp to go from flac to wav to mp3.

    switch wasn't free though. said i had to register it or something for $$. thanks for the links, i'll check them out tomorrow!

    converting .wav to .flac format. you don't need to worry about that option when you extract the .wav file from the .flac file.

    I also use frontend
    very easy

    I usually set up file folders which contain the Flac and the converted file so I can easily find them
    oh yeah, and if you are using Itunes, make sure you have your import setting at "apple lossless"
    otherwise, Itunes will convert the wav to an AAC file-which defeats the purpose of getting the flac in the first place.

    On my Mac I use XLD and am quite happy with it as it can go directly from flac to aac or anything really which is nice when wanting to import into itunes.
