She might not actually be passed out. She might be leaning back, eyes closed as she belts out the "Oooooohhh-ohhh-oooooOOOoohhhh" part of the beginning of Betterman. I think that's what I look like when I do that.

Actress Lindsay Lohan ordered to jail for violating probation

A judge in Beverly Hills ordered actress Lindsay Lohan to jail Friday for violating her probation.
The actor showed no emotion as she was led away in handcuffs after a brief hearing. She was ordered to jail pending an Oct. 22 hearing.
Under the terms of her probation, if she missed a drug test or got a positive result, she could face 30 days in jail. But it was ultimately the decision of the judge whether to send Lohan to jail or try another round of drug treatment.
Lohan was ordered back to court after failing a drug test last week, a month after being released from jail for violating her parole in a drunk driving case.
Her legal woes date back to 2008, when she was arrested twice over a three-month period for driving under the influence. She ultimately pleaded no contest and agreed to attend alcohol education classes.
But prosecutors alleged she failed to attend the required number of sessions, ultimately landing her back in court before Superior Court Judge Marsha N. Revel in Beverly Hills. Before her sentencing in July, Lohan insisted that she believed she had been in compliance with the terms of her probation and wasn’t trying to get special treatment from the judge.
"I'm not taking this as a joke. It's my life. It's my career.... I take responsibility for my actions," she told the court. "I've tried to do the best I can. It's been such a long haul.... I don't want you to think that I don't respect you," Lohan said at the July hearing.
But Revel admonished the "Mean Girls" and "Freaky Friday" star for repeatedly lying about her role in two drunk driving-related incidents, failing to attend alcohol education classes and not following orders of the judge. Revel noted that Lohan repeatedly refused to admit her culpability by telling authorities that someone else was driving the vehicles involved in drunk driving accidents.
Revel pointed out that when a white substance was found in Lohan's pants and Lohan tested positive for the drug, the actress claimed the pants belonged to someone else even though they turned out to be "her favorite pants."
In the end, Revel brushed aside tearful pleas from Lohan and sentenced the actress to 90 days in County Jail. Lohan served 13 days in custody before being released to a rehabilitation program at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where she got out early after spending 23 days there.
Meanwhile, Revel recused herself from the case after prosecutors raised objections about the judge's conduct in the case, including meetings with defense attorneys.
Last week, the 24-year-old star admitted she had failed a drug test, setting the stage for the hearing Friday before Judge Elden Fox.
She'll be out in less than a week...I'll bet 3-5 days.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
Its hard to get out early on a probation violation. But even if she is in custody until her next court date on 10/22, she'll be out in time for Bridge School.
