    My rule on FB is if I wouldn't stop and talk to someone on the street then I don't want them as a friend. When I first joined up a whole lot of people that I went to high school with sent me friend requests - most of who I was never friends with or even talked to. They were just nosey - wanting to see what I had been doing for the past X years. The main reason I am one there is to share photos with my best friend in Australia and to keep in contact with cousins in the UK. If I see another Farmville fuckin update I think I may just punch the screen!!!

    Definitely creepy.....then again, most things to do with facebook are kind of creepy.

    I just don't get why people are constantly updating their status. I get it if it's some interesting/funny/weird event or observation, but really it's not vital that you let the world know every little detail.

    Exactly! I think some people just need that extra attention, but whatever. That's why I hardly check mine anymore.
