Wow, that was really great. My goodness I got chills throughout. Awesome, that show has definitely become one of their all time best and all who were there will remember it. Too bad I live in AZ.

So sad and, in a weird kinda way, beautiful at the same time - Stone and Jeff comforting Ed, the crowd's response (except for the few assholes yelling during the moment of silence)... Must have been quite a special moment for all involved. :(

That was really amazing. The speech, the moment of silence, and the raw emotion in Ed's voice during Come Back. The whole thing gave me chills and this is just another reason why PJ is the greatest band in the world.

So powerful. I've watched it over and over and still it's so touching when Stone walks over and rubs Ed's back. And Jeff, standing there and looking so sad...

So sad. I always have tears in my eyes when they play this or Off He Goes.

Oh Christ, I'm still having that little word with myself about missing this. I'm so pissed at myself
  • Thanks for posting this video.

As you can see I don't post here often although i check in most days, but with this i feel compelled to add something. I been lucky enough to be at a few shows now, including Belfast and Hyde Park this time around, and I follow the band closely and to me this moment is THE defining moment. This is PJ on a plate and I hope this comes out ok.

I have never heard Ed sound worse and I have never heard him sound better all at once and at the same time?

You have the start of a speech that I'm guessing has been prepared before that goes in a different direction and with Ed in this moment you have the insides of a person literally laid out before you. It is painful to watch and you can't help feel the same things he does and it absolutey breaks your heart to watch it. I love the crowd- unbeliveable response and jst captures the relationship between the band and their fans. Stone comforting Ed just gives a warm feeling inside?

I love this band because of the honesty and this is just wow. THIS IS PEARL JAM!!

just Wow... really wanted to travel for this one tbh, but sadly money and time of work didnt allow me... really is a tear jerker watching it and i hope that the people screaming didnt know what it was all about becasue if they did, it would be so damn disrepectful!

I was at the hyde park gig and tbh i think that gig still showed how 10 years ago still plays on eddies mind.. there was alot of people who didnt seem to care about others well being sadly and you could see eddie was getting worried at some points early until the crowd carmed down..

I hope the lad tour EU again soon, deffo be following them around instead of a holiday :P

I've never seen anything more emotional than this. What an intense moment. So thankful I was able to be there.

Massive chills when Ed breaks down, when the first note for Come Back is struck, when Ed's voice almost breaks during the song. And thinking about that epic ending the crowd delivered for Black. So glad I had the chance to be there.

i was there too. and i can hardly watch the video. it was so sad moment.
and its also hard to watch because of the screaming people, that really hurts. but indeed, i assume that they didnt know and/or didnt understand what ed was about to say. 'we' were aware that 30-06-00 was a sad and special day and kept quiet. but of course not everyone was. hope the band didnt get this wrong :(

had the same thought. it was hyde park where he said that, if it was necessary to stop, they would stop in the middle of a song, or?

I was there and I must say that those screaming idiots broke my heart. There's just no excuse for doing something like that. None at all.
