A man in his early 20s was killed and a teenager was injured Sunday in a fireworks accident, Las Vegas police said.
The incident happened about 10:15 p.m. in the 6000 block of Pooh Corner Court , according to police.
The unidentified victims were lighting fireworks in the street when the fireworks backfired.
Witnesses at the scene believed the fireworks had been altered with chemicals to create a larger explosion.
i worked saturday and am working today. so, that makes it a one day weekend.
