My wife and I own a place in Turkey and recently we discovered that a local businessman has set up an attraction where people can swim with the dolphins. The pool is too small and by all accounts the dolphins seem distressed. A lot of Brits have protested while out there and some apparently have been arrested trying to turn away clients. We are over there on the 2 July when there is going to be a peaceful protest. If I'm arrested please send me snack bars etc. ;)

There is an online petition that has just been started plus we have sent numerous emails to various government departments. I think they are thoroughly sick of us. Please spend 2 minutes to fill this in and perhaps let animal loving friends know.

We are determined these dolphins will be set free.

The guy who owns this hell hole has claimed to the local newspaper it is just a few Brits who are jealous of his success that want it closed.     Even if you pretend to be a punter at first, taking happy snaps, email them to me and any text you can and I'll get the site up fairly quickly. It'll be hosted in USA so well out of reach of them and subject to US laws.

    Thanks a lot. :thumbup: I've emailed asking for any new pics so I'll see if anyone has had any success.

    all one has to do is watch "the cove" ... although the conditions are different ... the backstory to why rick o'barry decided to become an activist is very poignant ... (he was the original trainer of flipper from the tv shows) ...

    also on another note - another well known trainer and captor of dolphins has now become a full blown activist ... forget his name ...
