    oh yeah.....hehe

cuz you never know when you will show up to a complete fucking suckass show like cincy.......ive been to more than one subpar pearl jam show....

and how any sports fan can say they would rather go to a fucking rock concert instead of the fucking super bowl is strange in my opinion....

unless its my Carolina Panthers in the superbowl I don't give a shit, you remember when Carolina played New England back in 02 I believe it was? That was the best superbowl I've ever seen, came down to the last play of the game, Kasey fucked us! We would have beat the patriots if he knew how to punt, every PJ show I've seen has been nothing short of amazing, ever superbowl after 02 has been lame as fuck, especially when the steelers won.

Wow, didn't realize I was a member of the Douche Bag Club.

How any American could choose PJ over the SB perplexes me. I think we've all seen PJ many times. But the SB is THE sporting event of the year. Tickets are nearly impossible to come by and all the hoopla surrounding the event is a bonus.

Now for the foriegners who want to say American football is boring I feel pity. Too bad for them that they had to grow up in countries where a bunch of girls kicking a ball around is considered a major sporting event.

I could see Pearl Jam doing the Superbowl one day. In fact i would hope for it as a fan of the band. I think it would be a great credit to their long standing success and great career as a top notch band and live act. I don't think that it is that far fetched of an idea. It was not to long ago many would swear on their lives that they would never do a festival again. Say in the next 10 -20 years if the band is still going or perhaps take a break and later unite, what other quality acts of my generation (the 90's) are out there worthy of that honor. I don't think there are too many IMO. And the age demogapahics of most of the fans that will be supporting the NFL in the next 10 years are perfect. They are teens of the 90's. Im all for it!!!!!!!!!!!!

If this EVER happens, I'm DONE with PJ :D. I can't see Ed ever selling his soul in such a way.

This is funny. Still obsessing, 6 years later. Unfortunately, I can relate.

american football is my favorite sport, next to baseball I can't choose between the 2, but to say soccer isn't a sport is just crazy, those guys play with twice as much passion as any of the over payed athletes we have here in the US. No padding either

Well, i am a huge pats fan so the superbowl would be great, but i would take front row at pj before any superbowl hands down. i cant see how people pay so much money for something that lasts 4 hours and you have nothing to show for it.....

especially in your case dude......manning is simply not good enough. if the giants pull out an upset, you can thank their d. the only chance they have on offense is manning to burress every time...toomer is not going to win a superbowl, neither is jacobs or anone else they have on that roster.
You do realize I'm a Pats fan?

You do realize Kasay does not punt, he's the placekicker.

If he could have kept his kickoff in bounds, your Panthers would have still lost, but it would have been a touch more difficult on Brady and Vinatieri at the end.

I'll choose PJ over the SB any day of the week or year as I answered in this thread in about September. The only bowl I'll be watching that day is the Puppy Bowl on animal planet. Just not into football, sorry. But the world is big enough for a variety of interests so have fun watching your game.

If we are talking Super Bowl, then Pearl Jam concert wins hands down!

Now if we are talking Italy playing the world cup finals the choice becomes much much harder. I have been first row at PJ (thank you festivals!). It would be hard nonetheless!

Do you like Pearl Jam? Do you like their music? So if they played Suberbowl that would not make you like them? All of a sudden your tastes would change? GET OVER IT. When they played South America there were huge corporate sponsors. They were gonna play that Heinikien festival that was cancelled due to inclimate weather, how come not hate on them for that. Pearl Jam is an American band and although they have issues with current American politics they are not haters of America. The Superbowl is American as Apple Pie and the premiere sporting event in that country. Why they would be selling their soul if they ever played it is beyond me.
