I'm not married but been engaged for 21 years. It's hard work to compromise on porn, PJ and sleep ins' and eventually who gets up to see to the babies, but it is lots of fun and can work.

how is it possible to not get married but be engaged for 21 years? What's the holdup? 1 year was enough for me...I can't even imagine talking about a wedding for 21!

Without spending on wedding stuff, you get to just get on with it, and there is nothing like "no holds barred".
no I am not going to the clink....getting hitched Saturday though so some would say I am going to prison.
here are my plans for the last week of "me-ness"
1. have some tacos as she hates them and will never be cooking them is my guess (Check)
2. spend too much money on a pearl jam poster- if I have the cash still I am buying that Ames Troy Chicago poster( had to settle for EMEk cyberman couldn't pony up that much cash)
3. throw all my recycling on the floor in the kitchen (check)
4. Clothing on the floor...ahh I'll miss that (check)
5. Enjoy the non-candled stench of my house (check)
6. keep all the drapes closed during the day (check)
7. take a dump and not flush it until I damn well feel like it (pending last night's tacos) Check- had to flush after 5 minutes though...it was bad
8. ceremoniously get rid of all my porn (check :-( somewhere Hugh is Crying)
9. rearrange all the cabinets she just spent 2 days making into some configuration where I can't find anything (check)
10. sleep till noon (check)
at least there is one thing you all will appreciate, she is not a big PJ fan, so my extras if she lets me out of the cage to see a show in another state will still be available to an 84xxx seat

I will not be PJ restricted she loves music, just not a rock and roll person, so the green light is still on!
