Also, I just played a poker tournament tonight and one guy at the table was like "Man, I fn hate the Beatles". I almost fell off my chair. To each his own I guess.
I don't love all there stuff, that "i wana hold yer hand" shit just irritates me.
Norwegian Wood
I am the Walrus
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
I can't expound on the Beatles and not familiar with every little nuance, but I like these songs, and could add some other but sticking to 3. If I could add a 4th, I like Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite. I like the weird sounding ones the best.

It is time to admit that we used to rock like hurricanes. It is time to run for the hills and go round and round. It is time for us to shout at the devil. We've got the right to choose it, there ain't no way we'll lose it, and we're not gonna take it anymore.
- C. Klosterman
Helter Skelter
Dear Prudence
I Saw Her Standing There
That's unfair.
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V
You're right, it is unfair. I should have expanded the list to 5. Just thought it might be a fun exercise putting people on the spot for their three favs.
"FF, I've heard the droning about the Sawx being the baby dolls. Yeah, I get it, you guys invented baseball and suffered forever. I get it." -JearlPam0925

Cool thread though... Making me even more excited for Paul Mccartney this summer!

I Want You(She's So Heavy) - over 7 mins. long and rocking
Dear Prudence - like how it slowly builds and a great bass line
A Day in the Life - how could you not love this one?
I'm partial to Abbey Road but after thinking had to choose a few others. This would only be easy if you asked for our top 30 songs.

"Becoming a Bruce fan is like hitting puberty as a musical fan. It's inevitable." - dcfaithful
in my life- such an amazing song. probably my favorite beatles tune of all time. my friends had their first dance to this song at their wedding a few years ago and it was beautiful. i love that little riff that is sprinkled throughout the song.
let it be- this song is very relevent to my life at the minute. it is said that paul wrote this when the band were breaking up and it was all they could do to get through the day together. its such a beautiful song and a such a simple yet powerful chorus "let it be".
across the universe- i don't know why, but i have always loved this song ever since i was a little kid. i think it was the first time i had ever heard a wah pedal used and i thought it was awesome...now that i'm older ican appreciate the helplessness in the vocals "nothing's gonna change my world"...
tomorrow it will probably change, it always does.
