Fantastic show at Ram's Head in Baltimore! I can see why everyone raves about this band live. And nice meeting you, Dustin!
Unfortunately they didn't play SOLAT or She Loves You. However, Angry Johnny, American Slang, and Casanova Baby were definite standouts. Awesome show, tons of energy.
Seen them live six times...besides PJ, I would consider them to be my favorite band.
Also they do a sick ass cover of 'State of Love and Trust'
We saw them in KC a few months ago and they were AWESOME live...and yes, the cover of SOLAT is phenomenal. The freakin' roof was coming off the place with that and Great Expectations.
My wife went in not as too much of a fan, but came out very impressed and now really digs them.
They are flirting with my top 5 and will probably end up there. Every time I hear them I fall more in love with them.

'I want to hurry home to you
put on a slow, dumb show for you
and crack you up
so you can put a blue ribbon on my brain
god I'm very, very frightening
and I'll overdo it'
you lucky son of a gun! i hope someone is recording this show
also get there early and check out Fake Problems
Honestly, it was a bit of a let down....1 and 1/2 hours total....oh well, still was a nice summer with their new record blasting..

Radio City has a strict curfew. thats why they didn't play a much longer set.
I listened to the bootleg, and they did lots of improvisation which I think is pretty cool.
Saw these guys at ACL this past weekend and thought they were pretty good. I then listened to American Slang and The '59 Sound and am really digging them.

I did listen to that too and Sink or Swim but I didn't care for them as much as their latest two.

really? I think Senor and the Queen is one of their strongest release and a lot better than American Slang.
