We are already developing cars the make cleaner air when they are driven... but your right we should just aboned it all, give up the luxuries of being able to see generations of our familys live, laugh and love so we can save some trees??? no no no youve got that all wrong heidi. intelligent beings should know how to use their resources sustainably. its not cause were intelligent that we destroy its cause we arent willing to think outside the box and take responsibility. tell me why all new cars that are manufactured arent at least hybrids?? tell me why were not seriously looking for an alternative to petroleum. tell me why we continue to build more roads and allow our public transport systems to deteriorate. tell em why we insist on building mcmansions and why every new home built isnt automatically solar powered to some degree and equipped with water tanks? tell me why we still produce to excess yet wring our hands at the poor starving people

Twist everything you say? I wouldn't go that far, I point out things you seem to not mention which you simply don't agree with, but that doesn't mean I twist them. And what exactly is my agenda - that I disagree with you and provide examples of such? And to get back on track of the discussion, how come you don't comment on how all other species use the resources around them but don't do so in a manner that's detrimental to other species? We're the only species that takes well beyond the need of survival or even comfort solely for selfish benefit while others have none? You seem to place humans so far above the rest, but many of the justifications are also the detriments why we shouldn't be that far ahead of anything else. We solely have more intellect but don't use it which is why the world and societies are the way they are.
