totally let down by the 10 club - totally fucked over by crashing websites

I concur.
FYI I think the side front row seats at only obstructed sound wise, not visually (I could totally be wrong though). That said I don't care if I'm there. I mean sure it won't sound good, but how can you be unhappy with 1st row?..I mean there's gonna be hard core fans up in the gallery.
Edit: 100 Pacer is probably right..my memory can be foggy at times..maybe the first row (side) is visually obstructed.0 -

Wow I knew someone would miss the line where I said I was just happy to be in the building....didn't think it would be you though.
I also said the upgrade is cool. Just didn't want someone to have an unbstructed view as a result.
I really hope that all who got shut out can get tix without having to go through a scalper."Rock and roll is something that can't be quantified, sometimes it's not even something you hear, but FEEL!" - Bob Lefsetz0 -

That sucks share. :( Honestly, I'm just happy to be going.
Good luck finding tickets! I hope you don't have to resort to getting gouged by a damned scalper!!!!
And you never know, someone might end up needing to unload their seats for face closer to the show dates...or need someone to come with them...
Keep hoping!!! Sending good luck vibes your way!!!Forget your perfect offering, there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in. - Leonard Cohen0 -
and I should add that some of the people who may have "regular tickets" - if we're lucky enough to get any - are 10 club members - many of us over 10+ years in the 10 club still trying to get one show
I'm kidding about the scalper - I wouldn't - hey I couldn't afford it
thanks for the good wishes - hoping for a good night at Hemmingways!we're all sentient snowflakes

worst case scenario, and i know this doesn't bring much comfort but it's worth mentioning: 50 tickets per show are released for sale ~5:30pm/6:00pm the day of each show at the box office, so lining up early wouldn't hurt.To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

I disagree
I joined the 10 club for ticket access
I'm not ragging on them - I guess it's just something I've grown to expect
mind you the membership has gone up about 300,000
but it's business - they are a service provider and no longer a small bunch of people stuffing envelopes and mailing us our tickets
they're a multi million dollar organization now
I appreciate them - I just feel let down - that's not going to change

I hope those 50 tickets find their way to 10C members like share and not scalpers.
I agree totally. Good luck to all who are camping out."Rock and roll is something that can't be quantified, sometimes it's not even something you hear, but FEEL!" - Bob Lefsetz0 -

if i didn't already have tix to both of eV's Toronto shows not only would i be lining up tonight for a chance to purchase tix during the sale tomorrow but also the day of the show for a crack at the extras that will be released. there will be, if they aren't there already, homeless that have been recruited by scalpers to wait outside the box office for tomorrow's sale,...
in Vancouver, the line for a chance to purchase tix released the day of the show didn't really form until ~3pm/4pm, believe it or not.To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody.
