These threads aren't about creating or discussing information, they have an ego-filled bullshit agenda. You didn't start these threads to discuss the topical situation but to expose a perceived bias on this board that goes back to the whole left vs. right thing. You should have started a single thread with the title "This board leans to the left" and given your reasons why... rather than using passive aggression towards those who you despise. I could have read that without laughing in disgust.

Haha ... Not so sure that rationalization vs. midbrain function generalizaton fits. :P Anyhow ...

Just say what you have to say and stop condescending, then you will find many people here will have a good debate with you. I just disagree with you on too many levels. I think people on here are intelligent and I find many of the discussions to be enlightening. You have called just about everyone uneducated and implied that you are better than them. Seriously, re-think you plan and you will get much, much more.

"Despise" is not how I feel about the people on this site w/ different opinions. I actually enjoy the debate- and am thrilled if a more liberal person can actually engage that intelligently. It doesn't happen very often.

And I must say, your eloquent retreat was one of the most poetic withdrawals from academic discussion that Ive witnessed on this site- but a retreat nonetheless.

Is the left vs right "thing" tired for you? B/C those philosophies are directing the lives of every peson on this planet.

The "philosophy" of left v. right? It is a political system that has failed... some of us don't need to be "lead" but that's not an option in the voting booth. We can argue all day about it because you perceive me as being a leftist and you will disagree with anything I have to say because you are preconditioned to. Once you start believing in this sort of thing it breeds ignorance. And what the thinker thinks, the prover proves. Lets not label ourselves or others anymore and start from a place where we actually listen to each other rather than try to prove a point by winning an argument.

there have been plenty of conservative opinions on this board - many of which i greatly respect ... even those that seek to defend israeli actions in gaza ...

i label you a racist because of your inflammatory remarks related to muslims ... i also label you a troll because since you've joined this forum - the majority of your posts are these aggressive attacking comments on the MT ...

i do find it ironic that you would gripe about name-calling - have you read your own posts? ... you had two threads locked for that reason alone ...
