Just a Moment.......Please

Saturday evening JB and I headed up to the pool red wine in hand.
We were already prepared for the neighbors obnoxious party tunes, another big blow out in his mansion on the lake.
This time instead of having a battle of the tunes contest with our stereo blasting back we had an Ipod with the little portable speakers hoping to drown out just enough.
The neighbor thinks himself a DJ with the microphone and all. He's havin' fun, whatever.
So all is good.
JB's select tunes, a little smoke, wine, fireflies, doggies being extra cute, a little hide and seek with the chew bones. Fun. Lucy decides to lay on the diving board to have her chew bone, that's cute. She takes up the whole board, where's the camera when you need it?
Then......
I look down at the Ipod :? and say 'Hey turn it down, that's Pearl Jam!'
Sure enough, Just Breathe is playing at the neighbors.
Pearl Jam made it to the party! Pearl Jam is in the neighborhood! on the block! OMG! :o
It was a moment for sure. Nothin I ever expected.
We listen and comment, 'wonder if Eddie would be pleased hmmmm?'
So we enjoy, it ends and my husband and I pause, look at each other wondering what's the next tune up, should we just listen to his stuff?
On comes

Alrighty then....
Well that was more than a good laugh as we added don't think Eddie would be pleased, not pleased at all!
That was our moment :D just a moment

    I posted this elsewhere, but I was writing on the boards last week and suddenly heard PJ blaring from right outside the windows on the side of the house. Ran to the nearest window and found the neighbor's son sitting in the car in their driveway (right next to ours) listing to "Release."

    New neighbors suddenly went way up in my estimation _ although admittedly I liked them before this.

    For a second, just a second, I thought, "Hey, Eddie and the boys are in my driveway!"

    At the very least, not all hope is lost for your neighbor!! Hehe

    We have tvs at our stations at work, and the two weeks before the 'Deadliest Catch' premier, 'rise' would play and I would have to stop, move closer so I could hear better and close my eyes and enjoy that serene moment... My clients would look at me like I was nuts. I said 'but its Eddie!'... They didn't understand.

    I have thought about making a best of compilation cd and have like 50 of them and hand them out to my clients so they could have a taste... But that maybe a but too much for them. Lol! Gotta do my part to better this world, right?!

    Me too, I got crazy once in my ladies store while shopping, kind of forgot where I was and started yelling thats Eddie,of course no one knew what I was saying and they never looked at me the same again :lol:

    Hey thanks! Well I guess the neighbors have a cool son at the least, now to turn on Mom and Dad if they aren't fans yet. Could be new best friends :D

    Yea when he played that my opinion instantly changed at least for 3 minutes ;) keep spreading the word. PJ does make a better world!
