There was a group of us from here that made it. Was a great day. Nice picnic in the park to start and then an awesome gig

My god I hope we get some more of that video... do you think that's an official band recording (and so potential for DVD), or BBC / media agency recording? It truly was a fantastic show from Rage, and a great day all round.

On seeing the carnage at Finsbury Park tube, me and the missus walked on down to Manor House tube (10 mins) which was practically empty in comparison, hopped on a tube straight away and changed at Kings Cross for Victoria. Happy days.

I'm not sure. Saw a couple of people with passes etc filming towards the back of the crowd ... and then there were those filming in cranes from the back ... and obviously more in the sound tower so who knows ... they've got to pay for the gig somehow ;) ... I'd be happy for them to sell some more of the t-shirts as well as a dvd as they had sold out of the one I wanted :(

Tube was nuts ... they weren't letting enough people in as when we got on a tube (about 22.45) it left only about a 1/4 full :?

I dont think we got those sweeping shots on the big screens but I may be wrong. I think we will be getting a dvd :D

What a show! I forgot you lot were all going too! They really ought to release it on dvd, it was a fantastic performance. I was surprised by how decent the sound was, other than the vocals getting drowned out at times by the audience singing, it sounded pretty damn good to my ears. It was quite surreal seeing Jon and Tracey up on the stage with the band, they're from the same town as me and I used to know him years ago.

No those sweeping shots never came on the screen so a dvd looks like a decent possibility.

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

It was amazing but, having not been to an outdoor festival-type event since 1998, I now remember why.... I so, so much prefer "normal" in-door gigs. If there was any chance I could make it over to Dublin for tomorrow night's gig at the o2, I'd be over there in a shot. That place is going to be absolutely pumping.

They were meant to come on 8.50, they came on about 9.10 after the siren and video. Not to mention them spending 9 hours handing over a cheque.

 the cheque thing took 2 minutes ... and seen as it's part of the whole reason we got a free show thing we can give them that ;)

Just back from the Dublin show.

    UN FECKIN REAL.

They've definitely got a little bit of ....je ne sais Wha?
I'd seen Audioslave twice, the noise those 3 instruments make is still took me by surprise! Crowd were in fine vocal form, and from the balcony the floor was one huge mosh pit of dancing and jumping. Brilliant.

    Setlist was roughly this:

    Testify
    Bombtrack
    People Of The Sun
    Know Your Enemy
    Bulls On Parade
Township Rebellion (definitely didnt see this being played)
    Bullet In The Head
    White Riot
Renegades of Funk (another total surprise!)
    Guerilla Radio
    Sleep Now In The Fire
    Wake Up
    Freedom
    Killing In The Name
