2000 boots

The '00 boots are rediculous. The mix is perfect in terms of each instrument. It is very well balanced. Matt's drums sound is awesome....they have such a more fuller sound then the set he uses now. He also was more "flashy" than he is now. Listen to any version of God's Dice from this tour....

Binaural is such an underrated album live. I wish they played more tracks from this album now.

I know. Could you imagine Severed Hand in 2000?! How good would that sound on those boots...IMO 2000, 2006 and 2009 are the best years with '00 and '06 at the top.

Yeah, sometimes you get lucky and can grab one for under $10! Too bad the 2003 boots are usually $35 + each.

2000 was deff one of their best tours, I personally think they have picked it back up a notch since the mid 2000s performance wise. At least the MSG shows I went to were. I wish they would release 98 bootlegs, the sets weren't that diverse but listen to Eddie's voice during that tour. Youtube the performance of Spin the Black Circle with Dennis Rodman to hear what I mean.

I would love official releases of '98 as well. Especially it being the first with Matt. Although, PJ radio has played a lot of cuts from that tour and they don't sound that good quality-wise.

Yeah, the 98 boots would be awesome. The band has always played with passion, but the 98 shows definitely had an extra edge/snarl to them. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Went to download the Verona one and noticed there are two Yellow Ledbetter's. So I came to check the setlist for that show and it says Once. What happened to once?

Deff Verona Italy, the two Katowice shows, and the Vegas show come to mind. I'm biased towards the first West Palm Beach show because it was my first. So yeah...there's five for you.

I'd like to see them too. The three shows I saw on that tour (Missoula, Vancouver and Seattle II), were basically my first PJ shows (albeit i did see them at lolla '92, but I wasn't familiar with alot of their tunes at the time).

I don't know if it was because they were my first shows, but I really enjoyed that tour. My runner up would be the shows I saw on the '05 tour.

I was at none of these shows so I'm judging only on the bootleg itself

My favs are Atlanta (#29) and West Palm Beach (#30). 10th Anniversary in Las Vegas (#62) also is an amazing listen.

Getting six more in the mail the next days (European Leg: London I, Manchester, Milan, Zürich, Barcelona, Katowice II)

The Boise, Idaho boot from 2000 is one of my faves. I think all of the 2000 ones I have (about 45 or so) sound amazing, apart from the one from Holland (I think). It's the really short Euro festival one.

I also have ones that run from may through june of 2000... i have so many i'm not sure of the location of the shows but i know they are overseas ones... stockholm rings a bell as well as verona. leatherman and timeless melody inmcluded (as previously stated) is always a plus. :0) saratoga ny is also one of my faves and it also included T.M.

In my opinion, I always thought they sounded too flat and quiet. The Euro ones don't even sound live. Ed's vocals were to quiet on a lot of my North American ones. The songs seemed to lack energy..

I thought 2003 was the best. You could really blast those and get the range.
