    At least it wasn't raining.
likely would have been a relief.

At least you didn't get stabbed!! Remember kids , knives are NOT toys. That is all.

Get some aloe vera gel pronto!

I've never been truly camping...closest I've been is sleeping in a horse trailer (new before the horses lol) in a campground for the Sumpter flea market. That cemented the truth that I am at heart a city girl!

Hey, those mountain nights get cold and lonely. Besides, badgers are slightly less grumpy than wolverines.

i think you should mail speedy some things for his next camping trip.
    1. he needs shade.
    2. send him a female badger in heat.
    3. he should have a male wolverine for his tent and to cross breed with the badger to create a badass hybrid.

    Just NOT on OUR campsite...

We had sun shining on our dumbasses ALL FUCKING DAY!!!!!
    dude, that seriously blows ass.
next time maybe try and find a place that builds trees.
We decided on doing this little adventure at the last minute....So we ended up with the LAST available campsite.....

    Still had fun....

    But FUCK it was HOT!!!!!!!

I guess there was a reason it was the LAST available site... probably gets used like twice a year :)

Speedy, two words - plastic tarp. Those things can be used for anything. Remember that whole hole in the ozone awhile back? That's right, I covered it with a plastic tarp. Problem solved.

I went camping this weekend, too. What did I learn? - SPF 8 is pretty much worthless. My neck, my back, my neck and my back!

    no internet for me. :)

i used to love camping. strap on the back-pack, hike for a few hours up a mountain, be totally out in the wilderness....no campsites....no people...no nutthin'. hubby and i used to do such back in our younger years. nowadays, yea...the marriot in town sounds awesome. 8-) even without internet access. ;) give me great restaurants and a fluffy bed.

what's up with that bs? i stayed at one and they wanted $10 per day. i called the front desk to complain. they said they would give it free for one day but charge for the rest. i told forget that and that i've stayed at hotels all over the place and i've never been charged for the interent. and if they wanted to charge, i would just go down to the business center or louge and use it for free. they finally game me the super secret log on info.

i've stayed in hotels from east coast, to west coast, north and south and that was the only hotel that tried to pull that crap. the only other annoying hotel issue is the non free local calls in vegas.
