Been to this place a couple of times....Fishing, swimming, blah, blah....Always had a good time....

This weekend they give us a campsite they call "rustic"...No water, no electrical, no problem. But what they failed to tell us is...

NO FUCKING SHADE!!!!!!!! Holy Fuck!!! After 24 hours I felt like I had spent a day in a fucking microwave.

But I caught some fish...
Grilled some food....
Made the best of it....

There isnt enough suntan lotion on the planet to make me feel comfortable....

I feel like a french fry.....hehehehehe
Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

Good stuff. I was out for over 13 hours fishing and trekking on Saturday, was a good 25°C here.
But yeah, no shade makes it rough!

    I like camping...I love it...

But NO SHADE at all...Was just a little too much....

They have a little swimming hole, which is basically a dirty, disgusting, mud hole....That under normal circumstances, there is no way in hell, not for a gazillion dollars, you would get my dumbass to swim in.....

    But I had no choice...hehehehe
I couldnt believe I got Kathys ass to go swimming too....

At one point we jumped in the car, drove 25 miles, just to sit in some air conditioned restaurant and eat guacamole for an hour....heheheheh

    Fuck it was hot.....

At least try to look for an abandoned bus to sleep in. That seems to work well from what I've heard.

Glad to hear you made it out alive Speedy!

Get some aloe vera gel pronto!

I've never been truly camping...closest I've been is sleeping in a horse trailer (new before the horses lol) in a campground for the Sumpter flea market. That cemented the truth that I am at heart a city girl!

Hey, those mountain nights get cold and lonely. Besides, badgers are slightly less grumpy than wolverines.

    1. he needs shade.
    2. send him a female badger in heat.
    3. he should have a male wolverine for his tent and to cross breed with the badger to create a badass hybrid.

Speedy, two words - plastic tarp. Those things can be used for anything. Remember that whole hole in the ozone awhile back? That's right, I covered it with a plastic tarp. Problem solved.

I went camping this weekend, too. What did I learn? - SPF 8 is pretty much worthless. My neck, my back, my neck and my back!
