  • yes yes yes. Between Buffalo, the two Monosodium Glutamate shows, and PJ Radio, I've had my brain heavily rotating a WIDE variety of pearl jam songs.

Haven't felt my love for people and Pearl Jam like this ...well since Philly 09. But not as much!!!

i was on a nice little road trip saturday ... got some bbq at Big w's in wingdale ... visited some organic farms ... had some ice cream in Great Barrington ... then 8 o'clock hit and all i wished was i was at msg for a night 3 ...

i mean ... long road, oceans, tremor christ, in my tree, save you, MOTH, RITFW, Habit, Brain of J, Sad, In Hiding, U, Red Mosquito, Dissident, Supersonic, Sleight of Hand, Other Side, Leavin' Here, Immortality, Strangest Tribe, etc ... so many great songs i would have loved to hear with the same people for another night ...

I'm sleeping poorly, watching lukin 2, betterman and hunger strke on you tube at least 3 times a day and can still get chills if I close my eyes and re-create that environment in my mind. I'd say I'm still not over it...

I actually cannot seem to get my mind off of it!!

Every so often I'll find my mind wandering & find myself thinking about a moment from that night.

Unforgettable. It was the most amazing, moving, incredible, and powerful experience, and made my love for PJ only grow stronger! 2 concerts in, and I'm NEVER looking back! I know I'll be seeing PJ again many times in the upcoming years! I gotta make up for all that I've missed!

wont get over it for a while, cant stop thinking about it, driving my GF nuts showing here pics, you tube, fanviews , etc LOL

seen them at MSG in 98 , that was my 29th pearl jam show & it was the best one, over Irving Plaza, which is # 2 for me, Philly 3, 4 last year, all the other gems, every other garden, just unreal, I love this band & this forum is great because we can all share it, Its great to know others that feel the same way & witnessed the magic

these blew away the MSG's on 08 IMO , anyone have any insight why ?

Yes, I have insight. The shows were the last of the tour. The second night was unreal. It might be the second best I've seen, after Halloween at the Spectrum.

I can't get over MSG2 and I wasn't even there! I know there were reasons why I skipped the MSG shows this year for the Midwest shows since I live there. Can't see all the shows I guess.
  • like a few others....I seriously cannot get over last week. I am 44 yrs old and an executive for a car company ....got the Backspacer cd while I have been driving the last couple days and have been workin youtube for some of the videos that I saw first hand. One week later and I still can't get over that show. Just incredible. Been listening to PJ constantly ever since and watching you tube clips of the show. Easily the best show I've ever been to by any band, and I've seen a ton of shows. Patiently awaiting the boot release.

Week later and I'm still not over it. Just saw two nights of The Hold Steady, and I'm thinking of MSG2, not those. Great shows, but those pail in comparison to the greatest concert I've been to.
