Who else STILL isn't over MSG2?

Un-freaking-real.
My 2nd PJ show and all I can say is WOW! I wanted that night to go on forever! I can't even explain the emotions I felt during that show- the most unbelievable feeling in the world! Still in a state of shock.

    we drove there from boston only to get shut out and drive another 5 hours home.. all because we were dumb enough to be scammed and sold fake tickets!

    I personally haven't stopped kicking myself, those who were able to be there got quite a show, everytime I read the set list I tear up a bit :cry:

    slow lukin= amazing.. I'm sure the youtube video doesn't even show a glimpse of what it was like in MSG

    seen them at MSG in 98 , that was my 29th pearl jam show & it was the best one, over Irving Plaza, which is # 2 for me, Philly 3, 4 last year, all the other gems, every other garden, just unreal, I love this band & this forum is great because we can all share it, Its great to know others that feel the same way & witnessed the magic

    these blew away the MSG's on 08 IMO , anyone have any insight why ?

    dude seriously. my sister keeps rolling her eyes at me like, "stfu already". this was roughly the 18th time i've seen the band, and i just can't get over it.

    ive been living on youtube watching the videos. i dont drive without them still blasting from my speakers. the comedown feeling from PJ shows is always a process for me, but after MSG II, i feel it will be longer than usual. they just seemd to have so much FUN, which to me, speaks volumes. after all this time, they have just as much fun (if not more) than we do. no band lights a candle.

    Not over it at all. My husband kept trying to go over car and house insurance with me today, and I wasn't very helpful :oops: I love NY, I love Pearl Jam I love MSG, and am completely in withdrawal from all those things.

    Wait....the shows over?!?! I've been sitting in my seat since The star spangle banner!!! I thought they were coming back out for a third encore!! DAMN THIS BAND SUCKS!!!!

    I can't get over it. I threw in the live at the garden DVD to "relive" it and it's making things better and worse at the same time. Can't really explain it.

    Couldn't have said it any better myself. It's a night that will live on forever.

    As a side note, the American History Museum (opposite the Natural History Museum) currently has a small Grateful Dead exhibit going on. I checked it out before I flew out today, well worth having a look if you are a native of NY (or still vacationing in the Big Apple!).

    Definitely still in awe... I feel waaaaaay fortunate that my last 2 PJ shows were that and Philly 4 (which was my 1st show since May 2006). I am too spoiled for future shows now haha! The energy was incredible and considering my day was not going well (arrived at my hotel only to realize my wallet must of fell out on the MegaBus... fortunately I had my MSG tickets on me but my Philly 4 ticket was in there... now gone forever), Pearl Jam totally made up for it! Loved Band of Horses too! PJ is one of the few bands out there that totally give you back every single penny of your ticket price with their performances. They really are 100% for the fans and I love them for it!
