I'm pretty sure it's gatorade in a wine bottle. No wine is that red.

im not so sure i would think it is gatorade
towards the end of the shows he sure don't act like it's gatorade sometimes

he also likes corona, mostly at the ens of his performance!!
I have researched the wine he drinks, and it is the above post, but they wont really say anything about it.. They said they wood give me an email once it is released............ nuthin yet and it has been awhile. If you do a lil research you will find out what exactly he drinks
He drinks. At least he drank an 04 Siduri Pinot Noir (Van DerKampnVinyard) during the 06 (or 05 tour?) Can't find the VanDerKamp Vinyard bit found a 2004 (can't remember the vinyard) bottle last weekend and it was GLORIOUS!!! Best $50 I've spent.
I dunno what he is drinkin' but it def. aint gatorade!!! he has been a drinker since the first show I saw him at in 1994. Gatorade and smoking just don't mix well, haha.

I do agree he drinks but there are nights when he clearly has something other than wine in the bottle. Actually Deloach called me the other night about their specials on their '06 Ven Der Kamp Piniot Noir, unfortunately I'm not in a position to be buying cases of wine at $35/bottle. Maybe someday

He usually has a couple of bottles on stage at once. At least he did at Hartford and Boston. In Hartford I was lucky to be rather close to the stage and when the lights hit the bottle, it looked like kool aid in it, way too light to be wine. The other bottle very well could have been wine. Anyone who drinks wine knows it is not a thirst quencher. With as much as Ed sweats during shows, no way he is replenishing his body with only wine.

exactly. whatever he needs to keep pumping out shows like the last few weeks, more power to him.
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam
Matt at Wine and Beer Westpark in Richmond VA had no trouble getting me a bottle of Siduri Van der Kamp pinot noir from a distributor, since he usually stocks Siduri's Sonoma Coast and Sonoma County pinots. He already knew why I wanted it - he said other people have asked for "the Eddie Vedder wine". I liked it, but I also like cheap wine so don't listen to me. I was really in the store to buy beer.
I would think most wine stores could get this for you, but Richmond has an unusual amount of wine & beer stores because the main grocery store chain, Ukrop's, didn't sell wine. (Ukrop's just sold their stores which reopened as Martin's and now sell alcohol and are open on Sundays. But we all still love our wine & beer stores.)
I have done some research on some bright red wines. I can't find anything that is that color, so it must be something different. However, gatorade and wine just don't seem like they taste that good when you drink both of them at the same time. I still have yet to find someone who sells the Siduri Van Der Kamp Pinot though

the picture of what eddie is pouring in tightropes' picture i still think would maybe be wine.
take some high intense lights like stage lights (many colors no less) and see what it does to the color of wine.

Its Gatorade or something just like it. My shoe smelled like red gatorade for a week after he poured some in my shoe in Buffalo.
Hahaha! This was all discussed in great detail in older threads. The answer is bttle of wine and bottle of gatorade (or some energy drink). Def.
I second this. I'm sure I saw a picture somewhere in the last week where there were 2 wine bottles at his feet. Only 1 had something in it that didn't look like wine.

Good for him if he's drinking gatorade now. Wine is terribly dehydrating and dry mouth can be a problem with reds neither of which would be good with all the fluid he's losing during the shows. He's a rock athlete and he's taking care of himself
I saw him with a fruit punch g2 bottle on stage last week. He has to drink gatoraid or water or something besides wine. I'm not a big fan of wine but he has to drink something to keep himself going night after night. If he got hammered at every show they would be canceling shows now and then and they would be off some nights which is not the case.
