yes, this is true. I'm not a boasting kind of person...but I feel the need to do so now :).

I haven't been able to see my girlfriend in quite sometime, since we were able to get together and see the Tampa show...and just last weekend she was here for my brothers wedding and brought me my long awaited birthday present...she managed to find, for $25!!, an original copy of both volumes I & II of the original Vitalogy, published 1919.

I have been trying to acquire this to my collection for a couple of years now...it was literally the best gift ever.

here is a picture of my two books :)
    Cheers,

  • So, you and your girlfriend weren't seeing much of each other for awhile, and then you get together and she gives you that? Maybe that means you should spend lots of time apart, and just enjoy the heck out of the time you spend together! Me and my hubby did that this summer, he's doing pretty good now and I got a novel finished!
she holds the hand that holds her down, she will rise above!
  • Looks like it was stored in a bog.
And I'm not living this life without you, I'm selfish and clear
And you're not leaving here without me, I don't wanna be without
My best... friend. Wake up, to see you could have it all

Congrats and keep in mind with all this time a par from your girlfriend the advice the book gives you about self pollution! :p

I thought that had a strange hidden meaning :D.

I didn't even think about shooting some pages...I'll definitely share some. I'll find some illustrations too, yeah? I plan on at least starting to read this. You don't understand how intense this book is...it amazes me to read the display of different thinking people had back then, all in account of not being as educated. It has illustrations of different fruits and veggies, listing their crazy remedies.

Anyways, thanks everyone, and I'll share soon.
