Rahm is fun to watch. Good guy and deserving of a win after the memorial. Let’s see what Louis has in him

Dechambeau puked all over himself. Couldn’t happen to a better guy.

What a massive par save there. I didn’t think he was going to make that

The fact he’s won one is remarkable and surprising but also deserved

Oh my he doesn’t deserve this. What a soft shot

You have to try to put it in the bunker

It is amazing how many times the leader after three rounds in majors just needs to shoot 1 or 2 under to win and can't get it done.  Golf is tough.

I wonder what Louie will think when he sees that bullshit birdie Rahm had on #9 when he got a free drop because of television stuff.
  • bootlegger10bootlegger10 Posts: 16,029
I have played #18 at TP one time.  I hit the ball in the water and sadly it was not because I was trying to get to the green in two.

Eh, bad drops are part of professional golf,
unfortunately.  DJ got a bad immovable object drop at oakmont that wasn’t even in his way.  Half the time players bail a certain way because they know they can blow it into the grandstand and be fine

I could be wrong, but I think sometimes the leaders play defensive golf which ultimately costs them. Different approach with a 54 hole lead in a major. Good for Rahm though. Good dude and hell of a golfer.

That was wild. I know there are always advantages to the players due to temporary grandstands and other TV related stuff but that one was pretty bad. That temporary fence he hit it over was pretty damn big to be getting free relief.

I've been working on hooding the ball,  to keep my irons lower.  Going to go play my club tomorrow to see how that is working out.  It's mid 70s this week in Virginia,  at least 10 degrees below normal and no humidity.

Played all five 18’s at Bandon Dunes the last three days.   Let the feet rest this afternoon.

This is an amazing place.  Get out here if you can.  Unfortunately my game is not good enough for some of the par 4’s that are against the wind but still so much fun. Hoping to break 90 tomorrow.  92 on Pacific Dunes from the back tees.  Five more rounds to go out here.

There was a 160 yard par 3 playing about 220 due to the wind.  None of the four us got to the green.  Was nuts.

^ Very cool.  Sounds like a great place.  I've always said if I make it up that way to play golf I'd take BD over Pebble.  Enjoy.

Playing at Hudson National Golf Club this week and staying at the cottages.  Looks really nice.  Hopefully the rain will hold off...

Really beautiful course near my parents place in Delaware. It is always in pristine condition.
